We just had an amazing time at DLR last Wednesday and Thursday. NO crowds on Wednesday and small crowds on Thursday. All of the decorations are up and it was great because we hadn't been at Christmas time in 6 years. My family went with another from Oklahoma who had been to DL many times but never DCA.

We arrived on Tuesday, checked into the Ramada Plaza Hotel, and went to DTD where we played at the ESPN Zone and ate at the Rainforest Cafe. We shopped and got ready for the next day.

Wednesday morning we walked about 5 minutes to the park, after eating a breakfast of muffins and OJ at the hotel, and stood in line at the gates. After they opened the gates we ran to Space Mountain which only had a 5 minute line. There was no rope drop which was kind of surprising. After I got off of Space, I realized I had left my camera on the ride:eek: I went back and tried to find it but it wasn't in any of the rockets! Somebody must have stolen it. Oh well. We then rushed over to Matterhorn right side which had a 5 minute line. Good ride but a little bumpy. My brother and mom didn't want to ride so they went and got us Indy FPs.

We met them at Star Tours and rode with a 5 minute wait. Then we rode Autopia with a 25 minute line because they were only running 1 track and the FPs were not being offered. Then we went back to BLAB which only had a 5 minute line. I didn't do that well. Only L-3. Then our Indy FPs were ready so we walked over to Adventureland. Fun ride but not the last. Good to see the rat room effect working and the pole in the line.

Then we got HMH FPs and rode PotC with the new effects. The Davy Jones fog is amazing and the Jack Sparrow audio animatronics are so realistic! Rode JC with an OK skipper and then rode HMH. I'd ridden the regulara many times but never the holiday version. I liked the holiday as much if not more than the regular version. I can't believe they do that all in a few months!

Went and got BTMRR FPs and went over to Critter Country and rode Splash with a 15 minute wait and then Pooh with a wait of 5. Then we rode BTMRR with our FPs. It was WILD! Walking into Fantasyland we saw that Peter Pan had a humongous line so we opted for Pinocchio with only had a short 5 minute line. I like Pinocchio a lot, and it's even better because it hardly ever has a line.

We then got Space FPs and rode IASWH. I don't remember the last time I had rode the holiday version but I actually prefer the normal. The outside building is also a lot better lit up at night and not in the afternoon. Then we got RRCtS FPs because they're unnetworked.:thumbsup2 Then after riding Gadget's Go Coaster, we waited around ToonTown until our RRCtS FPs opened up. Great ride on Roger Rabbit. I love the spinning aspect of the ride.

Then my brother got tired so he and my mom went back to the hotel while the rest of us went and rode Mr. Toad. Then we picked up Indy FPs because it was 2 hours past our Space ones. Then we got in the line for HMH again. There are 2 lines and NOBODY was in the right line. We walked right onto the ride skipping a 20-30 minute line! I can't believe those people weren't in that line:lmao: . Then another ride on Pirates and then Indy again. I got to drive!

Since we had a while before our Space FPs, we decided to wait out the Peter Pan line. After about 40 minutes we boarded the short but fun ride. We went back and rode Space with our FPs and then we started leaving the park for dinner. We were stopped by the 6:00 parade so we watched a little of it. We left when the music got too repetitive.

We met my mom and brother at IHOP for dinner. After dinner me, my mom, and my 2 friends from OK returned to the park. Our first ride of that night was Astro Orbitor while my mom got BLAB FPs. I'd NEVER ridden it before because it always has a long line. This time I only had to wait 2 ride cycles. We still had 4 extra Space FPs so we headed to that next. Another great ride through SPACE!:scared1: ;) Then we used our BLAB FPs and I got 172,000? Then a night ride on the Matterhorn right before the fireworks.

The fireworks started and there was no line for Mad Tea Party so the 3 of us rode while my mom passed. It was very cool seeing the fireworks while spinning around. After they finished, they opened up Dumbo and we walked on. NEVER in my life have I walked onto Dumbo. Then we got in the "line" forming for Peter Pan. Then they had a mini rope drop to get to the Fantasyland dark rides and our line made it to PPF. 15 minutes for Peter Pan! Amazing!

After a ride on the weak Snow White, we went over to BTMRR. Went on it twice. This ride is soooooooo mch better at night and there are no lines! We watched the 10:30 Fantasmic! which I haven't seen in a few years. Right when the show ended we rushed to Indy before the lines built up. Another great ride! That ended that night. That's right. 33 rides in one day. It was exhausting and my feet were so sore. That was only the 1st day. I'm too tired to type the next day so I'll wait for later.

2nd day:

We started our day off with a ride on ToT while my brother and dad went to get Soarin and GRR FPs. We met at Monster's Inc. and rode with no line. Then we made it to Turtle Talk just before the show started. Our Soarin FPs were active so we went over and rode without a long wait. The ride was great, but the camera was a little shakey. 5 of us rode GRR without using the FPs because there was no line while the other 3 got Screamin FPs. After we got off soaked, we went into the RCCT to run around and try to dry off. It was kind off boring because there was not much to do.

Then we walked around the corner and saw the High School Music Pep Rally thing and walked faster . Then we rode Golden Zephyr because it's one of the things at DCA that my brother likes. Then we rode Mulholland with a 10 minute line. Then a walk on ride on Orange Stinger and another walk on for Maliboomer and we were ready for Screamin.

We only waited about 5 minutes because we had FPs so after our first ride, we joined the Stand-by line and waited 20. 2 great rides on Screamin in under 30 minutes!

We left Paradise Pier and headed to ITtbaB and entered the theater just as the show was about to begin. This is my favorite 3D show at the DLR. I love the interactivity. Then we started to get hungry and we walked into Hollywood Pics Backlot to grab an Award Wiener and to grab some ToT FPs. After lunch, we saw MuppetVision to let the food digest. OK but getting a little old.

Then we rode ToT with FPs twice because only a few people wanted to ride. Since we didn't spend more time at Disney Animation earlier, we decided to drop by to spend some time in the Sorceror's Workshop. I'm most like Captain Hook . Then one more ride on Screamin and off to DL.

We got into DL and went to go get in line for Space while my parents and brother got BLAB FPs and rode PotC. About 25 minutes into the line, they informed us that Space would be down for 1-2 hours. Not fair. Then everybody from the line went to BLAB and the line grew rapidly! We were glad that we had FPs. Then we got BTMRR FPs and rode HMH with a 30 minute line. Then we ended our trip with 2 trips on BTMRR. Overall, I had a great trip. Probably the most rides ever in 2 days that I'd ever ridden. Can't wait til next trip. Maybe the Subs will be open

Wow, you guys packed a lot of rides into two days. Glad you had such a great time, thanks for sharing:)
