Another early start but had enough time to take some photos of the room

and our view. It was a partial lake view if we could make it out through the trees

Mark went out and took a photo of us hanging out of the window as you do!

Off to Disneyland Park for our extra magic hours and we have another first a ride on the double decker bus to the castle.

We had our breakfast in fantasyland

We were early enough to get another go on Dumbo and the teacups

A quick shot of our very attractive ears

Over to Discoveryland for space mountain and astro orbitors

We then went on star tours and honey I shrunk the audience. Although we had our headphones on the french dubbing was so loud we could not hear. Don't think we will do this one again.

Over to aventureland to do Indiana Jones, phantom manor and PoTC. Back to the hotel for our daily ritual of drinks on the verandah

Tonight I have a surprise for Lisa we have booked the silver spur steakhouse and have ordered a birthday cake for her. We are going to all go on tower of terror again first and take the mandatory photo in front of the studios

and of course a photo of goofy bell hop before we go on the ride

We get over to the restaurant early and are seated almost immediately. Once again on this trip we have really poor service. My starters is taken away and my main course is brought out while everyone is still eating their starters.

We do get cocktails with the souvenier glass

The restaurant redeems themselves when they bring out Lisa's birhtday cake with candles and singing happy birthday. The whole restaurant joins in and the cake is delicious.

We now have our longest wait for any ride so far and go on Big Thunder Mountain. As usual it is worth the wait.

We then go and wait for the 10 o'clock fireworks

disneylandparis2008088.jpg

We wait and wait but the fireworks are actually at 11 and we are all too tired to hang around any longer and go back to the hotel. We are even too tired to have a drink before bedtime

Shame you had not realised the fireworks were 11pm. The Enchanted display was wonderful.

You all look like you are having a great time :)

Not only is your report entertaining, it is educational. I had no idea that there was an Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland Paris. Reading this installment of your report sent me on a little search and I found videos of the ride and see that it is a roller coaster. It looks like a good one. I just spent a chunk of time today writing about the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland--a very different ride from the one in Paris. Thanks for the education.

Thanks for your kind words. At one stage this ride went backwards! and it really made me feel sick, however it is currently forwards but I guess it could change again one day.

great day, Lisa's cake looks lovely :goodvibes

Lovely surprise for Lisa, the cake looks delicious :yay:

Another brillant day, a lovely birthday treat for Lisa.

Another great day Sue. Your pics are great. I would love to have a photo taken with Bellhop Goofy.

The hollywood hotel is a funny colour !! thats odd ;)

Another fab day, shame about the fireworks though :headache:

Another great day! We had poor service at Cafe Mickey in DLRP in June 2007 so i'm wondering if standards are dropping, when we went in 2006 it was much better. Shame really as France is the last place you'd expect to have a bad meal! :headache: The cake looked yummy with the fruit on top :)

A fab way for Lisa to celebrate her birthday:thumbsup2

Lovely cake and Bellhop Goofy looks fab! :thumbsup2

Sara. :)
