This summer, I will be working as a nanny and tutor for an Italian family in Turino, Italy. I will be working Monday-Friday 10-4 and have nights and weekends off. On these nights and weekends, I plan on utilizing my Euro Rail pass that I will be provided and make a weekend trip to Paris (including Disneyland Paris), Rome, and Florence. I had a question about the world collection and how to use those points. I have never done the exchange thing with the other time share company and how it works. Have any of you done it? I would love to at least be able to stay in a nice place in Paris.

Thanks!

There are major issues using timeshares for such travel. There really is little in Europe that's accessible and reasonable in either II or RCI, even less availability and even less still for flexibility/shorter stays. RCI only has 114 resorts listed total (not DVC list) and it's likely some of those are duplicates. Of those only 10 are Silver or Gold Crown and of those, only 1 in in the Paris area but not in Paris itself. Plus I don't think any of them (10 at least) are RCI points resorts from what it looks like. I'd suggest cash or possibly hooking up with a Marriott points owner to get the Marriott timeshare near DLP.
