dlp with dvc points

we are dvc owner, but we also own annual passes for dlp. now, i saw that if you have an annual pass, a way to make use of high discounts like the flash sales, is to book a room for one person (because these packages always include park tickets as well) and then at check in, to simply check in the others 'for free'.... now my question, since if you book dlp with dvc points, you have to book length-of-stay tickets, can you also do the same here ? i mean book for one person and then check in other people later as well ? anyone ever done this ? thanks
