DLP Waitlist to make it to US?

Just read an article in The Street discussing DL Paris’s automatic waitlist that one can sign up for if their desired park is full for X day. The waitlist will move someone in when a reservation becomes available, presumably due to someone else canceling. Maybe there is a thread on this elsewhere. Would be quite helpful if Disney did this,
