Just now starting to plan a trip from the States to Paris, then take the EuroStar to London, and leave London back to the States for this November 2014.

While I've been to France several times, it has been numerous years, my college French is very rusty, and I am having some trepidation at getting from DLP to Gare du Nord. Are there trains that run from DLP to Gare du Nord? Should we take a taxi? Is there a shuttle?

Also, dumb question from a Florida native most familiar with WDW, is there is an Disney shuttle from Charles de Gaule to DLP?

Thanks for your help... I'm sure these questions have been asked, but a quick search really didn't provide the information I was looking for!

It is pretty straightforward to get from Gare du Nord to DLP as the RER train goes right to the gates of the parks. I found this website very helpful when I did that journey...

If you're planning on travelling directly from Disney to London though, you might find it easier to take the direct train from Marne La Vallee (the DLP train station) to London. Tickets for this line can be available several months in advance though and the cheap tickets can sell out quickly (they start at £69 return to give you an idea). Alternatively you can take the indirect route via Lille and tickets for this route go on sale around 90 days in advance.

There is a Disney bus from the airport to DLP called the VEA. However, you may find it much easier, and probably not much more expensive, to hire a private transfer.

Eurostar are naff at keeping you up to date in important stuff like that :scared:

Thank you for the tips, I will be sure to check out that website.

For some reason, I thought the EuroStar only went from Gare du Nord to St. Pancras... I was unaware that there is another train directly from Marne-la-Vallée to London.

Again, I am just starting out my research, so I appreciate the help.

Thank you all for your help. I've now run into a new problem. I checked the times for the Eurostar leaving Marne La Vallee, and there is only one train leaving at 6pm. I really want to spend that particular day in London, not waiting around until 6pm for the Eurostar.

So now I am back to my original question, how do I get from Marne La Vallee to Gare du Nord to catch an earlier Eurostar? I understand that I need to take the RER A to the Chatelet Les Halles, and then get on the RER B, but I'm not what "direction" to take the RER B to get to Gare du Nord.

Thanks again!!

B or indeed D from Chatelet Les Halles, in direction Creil, Mitry-Claye or CDG Airport (all of which go north)

This far in advance only the direct train will be showing as available from MLV to London. There are several trains a day that go via Lille but these won't be showing on the Eurostar website until nearer the time. You can wait and book the whole trip 90 days ahead or you can book the MLV to Lille portion now and the Lille to London TGV tickets separately (they are the bit that are released at 90 days).

Hope this makes sense!

I would get the train from Marne La Vallee to Lille, then catch the Eurostar for London St. Pancras in Lille. My wife did this on Monday, she left on the 9am SNCF train from MLV and was in London by 12 noon. The train station in Lille is very well sign posted and has good facilites.

You also have the advantage of having to go through customs and UK Boarder Control when you check in at for the Eurostar at Lille, so when you arrive in London you can step off the train without having to go through security again. Lille is a much quiter station than having to go into Paris.
