I am so happy that we are going to DLP again, this time with our little girl!!!

The members of the group are: me, my DH and our DD who is 2,5 yo.

We will arrive at 17th of May and will be staying for 3 nights/4 days

We will be staying at Newport ( I just decided that) Until yesterday, NY hotel was for 3 days 464 pounds, and today it is 774 pounds, and doesn’t give you the -40% discount  I am very sad now

I think I have found the most suitable airline that arrives to Paris very early in the morning and departures to Athens very late in the afternoon.

I have emailed DLP so many times and I have received no answer. So I fortunately found this forum that I think I can get all of my questions answered. I am a little lost in all these topics so If you have many of my questions answered, don’t be mad at me 

So, I would like to know:
DO I need to pick the standard or the extended insurance ?
Do I need to book the half board option?
High floor or Low floor? Do I need to ask to be by the elevator?
What time you can have breakfast at Newport Hotel?
What are ths DLP shares? How can someone buy them?
Do you need to get a FastPAss?

Thank you for reading my post and TIA for any answers

You don't have to get Disney's insurance as long as you have your own travel insurance
Do I need to book the half board option?
You don't have to, but with the exchange rate you save money by paying for meals in £ at the moment
High floor or Low floor? Do I need to ask to be by the elevator?
Don't know the answer to this I'm afraid, but Newport Bay is a big hotel with not many elevators!

This has a few very recent threads on it - just scroll back a couple of pages and you'll find all the information
Do you need to get a FastPAss?
You get this in the park if you wish by putting your entrance ticket into the relevant fastpass machine

Hope this helps with a couple of your questions -

I don't know if there would be any advantage to you having the half board plan, as your currency is already euros, isn't it?

I've answered this for you on the other thread where you asked about these :)

I remember the Newport Bay having very long corridors so if you want to be near the lifts to save your little girl's legs then I would ring the hotel or ask when booking if this is possible.

Also when we stayed there (2007) we were offered different breakfast slot times when we checked in although you didnt havw to stick to them exactly.

Hi,

Sorry I'm a newbie to DLPR so no help with your questions but just wanted to port to say hi as we're going to be there the same time - we arrive 17th May for 3 nights. Although we are staying at the Santa Fe.

Its our DD 4th birthday whilst we are there so she (and I) are desperately counting down, can't wait.

Kellie

Thank you for all your answers.
Do I need to book shows in advance? and how do I do that?

Shows (apart from Buffalo Bills Wild West show in the Village) are free, and can't be booked in advance. You just check the programme for when and where they will be showing, and head to the venue a little time before the start time of the show.
