Its all change from 3rd April - and my head hurts :confused3!

If anyone can find the new information on the DLP site, please provide a link (I'm useless at finding anything on that site I'm afraid).

Basically - half board standard can only be used in full at the standard rating buffet restaurants, no table service restaurants are included (so no more Annettes or Silver Spur). Although you can still use your standard vouchers at face value in any of the participating restaurants, as per usual.

Half board plus includes the table service restaurants, and hasn't changed.

Introduction of a new category - Hotel option, half board is a couple of pounds cheaper than the half board options, but specifies you having dinner at your hotel.

And a brand new thing from April 2014 - included free in the Standard, Plus and Premium half board or full board plans, is a "Pause Gourmande" teatime treat (which has a little pic of a hot drink and a cake beside it :)).

Interestingly, the face value (ie euro rate) for the April 2014 half board options is the same as pre-April.

And here is what the full explanation from the lovel Figgy over on the TA forum:goodvibes

thank you addverbaan (and Figgy girl) :thumbsup2.

We just got back from a trip with the Hotel Full Board option.
It worked well other than the lunch vouchers required you to get Menu 3 (if there was one--one place in the Studios and the Sandwich Shop in the Village only had one -"menu" option with lots of entree choices and you could use it on those, which was really nice).

You could NOT use it for a less expensive menu.

The Lucky Nugget gives you a menu that is otherwise not on their normal menu: a grilled chicken sandwich with choice of fries or salad and a prepackaged (small and dry) brownie with nuts. You do get the all you can drink sodas. The dessert was a letdown, but the sandwich was very good and we were happy with this meal. This ONE place we were also given the option to pay 6 euro extra to have one of the normal meals (DS took advantage of this).

The "face value" of the lunch vouchers was 12 euro, but there was a lot of confusion and places would tell us they could not take them, even though the vouchers said they were able to be used at face value anywhere not listed and that should have included those places. Some of the bumps are still being ironed out.

Oh, and you canNOT use the dinner vouchers towards the cost of Buffalo Bill's.
