Hello! My birthday is June 11th and next year I will be 50 and I want to be in DLP on that day. I have friends who want to go with me, but are trying to get me to 'change' my birthday because they don't want to be in DLP in June.

So my basic question is what is DLP like in early June?
Temperatures?
Crowds?
Discounts?

I looked at the guide for 2013 and it seems that only Saturdays are considered regular season during my birthday week. I am looking to probably go for 3 days 4 nights in be in the parks on either Tu-Th or Wed - Fri.

And I want to stay on property.

Thanks in advance!

June is a quiet enough time to go, (midweek). A lot quieter than July or August. Weather would be like the UK...quite warm but always the potential for rain!

I went June 3rd + 4th last year, it was rather quiet those 2 days.
The weather was quite hot, but with a cold breeze, I did hear that a few days later it was raining a lot.

You can never tell with this European weather we got :)

mid-June, midweek, is a lovely time to go to DLP, nice quiet parks. The weather can be unpredictable - it can rain, but its not cold, so even if you get wet, its warm rain :).

That's great to hear! Thanks! I don't mind rain.. I'll enjoy the park rain or shine!

Was there 9th to 14th June last year. We had some rain - was raining on evening we arrived and again on Thursday, our last full day - but was warm enough for shorts every day, even the wet ones.

June is a quiet time, because there's hardly any european school holidays. Also, the spring season, which premiered this year, has been confirmed to return, so that might also be a good incentive.

We have been at the beginning of June midweek outside of school holidays and it was a lovely time to go. The parks were relatively quiet and the weather was warm and sunny, although that can't be guaranteed. :goodvibes

Agree, it's a lovely time to go. Have decided to brave the TGV again with DS the end of June myself. Lovely long evenings too. :goodvibes

Just an update, I booked June 10th - June 14th at the Sierra Lodge Golden Forest Club room. We got the special of an extra day free!

My friend is leaving on the 13th, so I'll have that whole day by myself :)

I am REALLY looking forward to this.. my alone day is a Saturday and that's probably the only day it will be busy... does DLP have single rider lines?

Hi

Yes there are single line rider queues. Check out dlpguide.com it's a great site for tips on planning your visit.

We will be there June 16-20 and hopefully the weather behaves !

Enjoy :yay:

The Frozen summer season will also have started in June with the Frozen sing along show.
