DLP Booking - through Disney direct? Agents? Websites?

First, I apologise if you can see several similar threads from me - for some reason I can't see my handiwork and so am not sure if they're coming through.

I'm very familiar with the way the bookings for Disney in the USA work, and the way agents can get discounts and promotions applied to bookings long after they're taken, so it's all very "no risk" as far as timing goes.

However, DLP is all uncharted water to me.

How do others book? What do you recommend? Book with Disney direct?

Anyone got a preferred agent? Recommended website?

Looking for a package that includes just hotel and tickets, no transport required as we'll already be in France.

Am I right in my assumption (from research done) that once you're booked in, you're locked in, even if they bring out a better offer or promotion?

It's all a bit confusing.

Thanks team.

People usually book direct with disney. Some people do have luck upgrading their hotel etc during flash sales and getting a good deal, it really does seem to be down to luck of which CM you get. Sometimes though people pay the cancellation fee and rebook on a deal and still end up saving money.

Disney direct, but I do check other Disney country sites. They do have different offers and discounts! This time I booked over Irish site :goodvibes

I did book over travel agency - no better deal, same if I'd done booking myself.
