DLH Room Key/CC Question

Can we use our room key to charge things in the park? I vaguely remember using our key to make purchases (like a cc) in the past, but I cannot be totally sure.

I do not plan on charging merchandise, but definitely for meals. Do the restaurants in DL accept the room key for payment? I thought our room key was connected to the credit card we had on file when we checked in on our last trip. It's been awhile, and I know things sometimes change, so I figured you all would know.

Yes you can charge meals, and other purchases as well, from the parks, the resort hotels and some places in DTD, but I don't think many and I don't know which ones.

You can find out the limit, it is based on the 'incidentals' hold on your credit card, I believe.

Yes you can, the adults room keys anyways.

At times i have been asked to show ID with it.

Our kids keys worked too. At least for my 8 year old (only had her key at one point, thank goodness for it!!!).
