Does anyone know the current pricing for full and half day?

What is the phone number you call to book?

What is the cancellation policy?

Do they charge you at the time of booking or day of use?


Trying to decide if we want to do this during our trip in May as a treat since our APs are blocked on Saturday!

It has the phone number to call to make reservations and ask questions. You actually book through the Grand Californian guest services desk.

Last time we rented a cabana for a half day in September I'm remembering it was around $130 including a passholder discount. We love renting a cabana for a half day! It makes for a great pool experience and sounds perfect for your blocked park day.

I believe the cancellation policy is 24 hours but you should double check. I don't think my credit card has ever been charged when I book. We've always been charged once we're there and it actually gets charged to your room account.

No AP holder discounts available on rentals

Full day is already gone for the date I was looking for -- got afternoon half day at DL hotel, will keep calling back to see if full becomes available or if I can switch to the Grand!

Gosh I wonder if they've eliminated the discount recently or if I imagined it?? I swear there was a discount... Anyway I actually prefer a half day rental even if you're not in the parks at all. It gives you time to sleep in, eat a nice meal in the evening and/or explore the hotels DTD. I don't find the cabanas at the Grand as great of a deal plus my girls most definitely prefer the DLH pool.

planning to use the cabana during tinkerbell weekend on the Saturday our APs are blocked! I would like cabana #1, 2 or 3 since they are close to the slides at DL and I know that is where my 6 year old will want to be.......

We have a cabana booked next week at the GCH but sadly it looks like the weather isn't going to cooperate. I was told it's a 24* cancellation policy and no penalty at all for cancellation due to inclement weather.

Not sure but that's a great question. The CM did look up my reservation.

Yes you can!!! We are staying at PP and I was able to book a cabana at DLH in May!
CM on the phone just looked up our reservation to make sure we were staying at one of the disney properties.

Hiya, I just booked an additional cabana rental. I am staying at the Grand in April and I have booked two full day rentals at the DLH. The total cost including taxes for the full day was a $209.00 plus taxes so a little over $ 225.00 for the whole day.

Re: PPH guests booking a cabana at DLH -- I wonder if you just got a CM who didn't know the official rules or if they've changed them and not updated their site? Here's the policy from the website:

Reservations and Pricing

Guests staying at a select Disneyland Resort hotel are invited to reserve a poolside cabana. These hotels include:

• Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
• Disneyland Hotel

To learn about pricing options or to make a reservation, please call (714) 635-2300, option 5, or visit the Guest Services desk inside the hotel. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.

Cabana rentals may be canceled by the Resort hotel due to inclement weather; Guests will not be penalized in this case. Otherwise, 24-hour notice must be given. Please be aware that the full price of your cabana will be forfeited in the event of a no-show or same-day cancellation.

When we called we were told the same as above -- that cabanas could only be rented by GCH or DLH guests, not PPH. But I'm glad you were able to!

Perhaps it's because the pph pools are closing for a refurb so they are allowing guests to use the other resort pools? I know they let you use an alternate pool if yours is closed but I don't know how they decide which pool guests can use instead Glad that you can though! That is awesome.

I have booked a Cabana as well and it will be 225$ for the full day and you don't get charged ahead of time. You will be charged if you don't show up though and you can cancel 24hours a head of time like another DISer said. The weather isn't looking so hot for my trip and I might have to cancel

You might want to verify the costs with Disneyland. During peak times (June - Sept) we have found prices to be much higher. Last summer, it was $180 for a 1/2 day (2-6p) and $280 for a full day. I have never gotten a discount in the last 5 years.

In the past, PPH guests have not been able to do a cabana rental.
