We will be taking our 3 mo and 3 year old to DL in March. I am hoping we can do some rides as a family with the baby. If you know of any, could you name them so is can put them on our "must do" list. Thanks!

So basically as a family you can ride everything together but Space, Star Tours, Indiana Jones, Matterhorn, Splash, Big Thunder, Go Gadget Coaster and Autopia in Disneyland.
In DCA Tower or Terror, Tuck and Roll Buggies, all Carsland rides, California Screamin, Silly Swings, Goofys Sky School, Jumpin Jellyfish, Grizzly River Run, and Soarin.

*there are some exceptions to the above for your 3 year old, depending on height!

There are a few threads here on baby wearing and rides you might be interested in.

Have a magical time.

That's quite an age range. I went with an almost three year old and 9 month old once and what they could do was quite different. The rides in common were Dumbo, Carousel, It's a Small World, the railroad and monorail, Casey Jr. Train, Storybook Canal, Winnie the Pooh, Little Mermaid, some of the things in Bug's Life Land, and the character meet and greets. There were other rides that they could do (e.g., PotC, HM), but the 3 year old wasn't ready for them. As YukonMommy said, you can do any ride that doesn't have a height restriction as a family, so it's really a matter of choosing the rides that you and your family will like.

We also watched the parades and the fireworks (the noise didn't bother either child at the time, but some kids are sensitive). We also watched WoC, but the 3 year old had trouble seeing and got bored. The shows (Aladdin (although the snake might scare the 3 year old - the one I went with got scared), Mickey and Magical Map, and Playhouse Disney) might also be fun as a family.

It's also worth mentioning, take advantage of the Baby Centers in each park. There are changing tables, a place to nurse, high chairs, etc. It was a nice sea of calm in the parks and it was great. They also have a training potty (not auto-flush and lower to the ground), if you're working on that with the 3 year old.

As they stated above, the baby can ride anything without a height requirement!

I have a 4yr old and an 8mo old. We're local AP holders. The baby has been going since she was about 5wks old! Having her has not put a damper on my son's enjoyment in any way. It helps that he's not tall enough for a lot of the rides, though! We save rides like those in Carsland and Autopia for when the baby needs to nurse or nap.

We've had a lot of fun as a family. Especially watching the baby's awareness grow each time!

If you baby wear, please search for the threads about it! Also- don't take a baby who cannot sit on Roger Rabbit! They didn't tell me until I was loading onto the ride that she needed to be sitting on the seat! So not good with an infant!

Have fun!

Keep in mind that your 3 year old may not be able to ride some of those height requirement rides anyway so you may not have to split the family up very often. Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Star Tours and about 5-6 others have a common height restriction of 40 inches. Indiana is 46 inches and California Screaming is 48 inches. There are a few that have shorter height restriction ranging from 32-36 inches. If you go on the Disneyland website and search the attractions it lists if there are any height restriction with each ride description.

As far as what your 3 year old will enjoy . . . My kids enjoyed everything except for the first few dark rides we went on when it was their first trip. If this is your 3 year old's first time maybe start with a few outside rides like Dumbo and the Carousel before Mr Toads or Ariel etc. He/she may love everything even Pirates. You can view the rides on YouTube before you go if you are worried about him/her being frightened and see what the ride entails.

For must dos Fantasy Land in Disneyland and BugsLand in DCA are mostly made up of rides for the whole family.
