DL this Tues/Wed ... ?

So I need to go down to Anaheim later in the week for some business and the thought crossed my mind to maybe go down a little early and hit DL Tues/Wed - I'd get a 2 day parkhopper. I haven't been able to go the past few times the wife/kids have, plus thought it might be nice to go by my schedule (although it's always more fun with someone...).

So how are the crowds this time of year?

A co-worker told me she had heard there's a bunch of construction going on right now and a bunch of the rides are closed. Any truth to this and do they post this info anywhere? Any discounts or bonuses to make up for the closures?

Is it even worth it if a bunch of stuff is closed?

A few years back, a co-worker who is really into Disney (I mean really into) gave me a list for each of the parks with the order to go on the rides, when to get fastpasses and for what, etc. such that we were able to ride all major attractions before lunch and with minimal lines. That was really cool, but I can't find the list. Is there anything like that on this board (or any more info like that)?

Thanks in advance for the help. I've done some searching and some reading, but need to make my mind up pronto on this to make plans/reservations/etc. What's the consensus on the Anaheim Plaza Hotel?

The parks will be close to empty, and have short hours 10am to 8pm. The Biggest bummer will be there are no night shows planned, and this happens to be the first set of weekdays World of Color won't be running for some rehab work. The big rides that are closed are the Matterhorn and Haunted Mansion. There is quite a bit of work being done on the rest of the parks as well.

Even while that may seem like a lot of negatives, go and have fun while you have the chance! There is so much more to see and do, relax, breath it all in and enjoy the parks!
