For my next trip, I may be heading out to Anaheim with three friends. We will all need our own beds as none of us are "that" close. I'm trying to stay at one of the Dis hotels, and so the primary question is: Are there two beds in each bedroom of the 2br suites? And does each br have its own bathroom as well? In the 1 br suites, does the non-bedroom only have one sofa bed, or can chairs be arranged as a second bed?

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

To the left of the page are all the different suite types so you can click on them to see the floor plans and different layouts. The floorplans really do vary though from room to room. As far as I know, the living room of any suite only has one full-sized sofa bed. Ours had two comfy chairs, the overstuffed type but I couldn't see pushing them together to make a bed, maybe for a small child?

I remember reading that a 2 bedroom generally has one king bed in one room and two queens with the daybed in the other. There was a connecting room off of our living room to make that same suite a 2 bedroom. In the one bedroom, we had a wonderful bathroom-giant with a separate tub/shower and also a glass walk in shower but all in the same room. So even though two people could shower at the same time, you were still in the same room. The only thing that was in its own room was the toilet. In the living room, the bathroom was just a powder room, no tub or shower.

The prices for the suites are really high so don't forget to compare prices of just getting each of you your own rooms. By the time you get into the 2 bedrooms, generally 2 standard rooms are cheaper and also you do not get concierge just simply because you are in a suite. That is an extra per night charge of $125 per room.

I've stayed in a 1-bedroom and there's a review of the stay on my site. The 1-bedroom has one bath. Bedroom has either two doubles or a king. Living room only has a pullout sofa.

Can't answer your 2-bedroom question.

In my opinion the suites at DL are way overpriced and don't offer much benefit unless you plan to entertain in the living room (which is set up with a wet bar area where the bathroom would be in a standard room). It's cheaper to get two regular rooms instead of a 1-bedroom suite, plus you'll have a bath in each.

ITA with what Mary/FoodLover said above. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite at the Paradise Pier a couple of years ago. Extremely overpriced for what we got. The sofa bed was one of the most comfortable sofabeds I've ever slept on, though.

I also agree that getting two regular rooms instead of a suite would be a better choice. Maybe you can request that they be "connecting" rooms. I think that's the term for rooms w/ a door inside that opens up to each room.

HTH!

Wow the suites are really nice there, some of those have more square footage then my house does! LOL Can't imagine the prices though on some of those. Given how much a standard room is, I can see where two rooms might be a better choice! They have a lot where there is a door that connects them both.

I have stayed in the Ambassador Suite, as a perk from the DL hotel...it has two bedrooms, the master bedroom has a king sized bed, nice big room, the other bedroom has two twin beds...there are three bathrooms in this suite. The third is only 1/2 bath. The suite has a large living room, wet bar, dining room, etc. It is very large.

Cool, thanks. I'm thinking maybe two rooms, I just figured that a suite would be cheaper. It doesn't look like there's that much savings, especially when we'd need a guy's and gal's room.
