Can anyone give me more info on this "party"? Is it only in DCA or does it also include DL? I have been to the WDW MNSSHP and I know it won't be as big as that, but what does it have? I see trick or treats and arts and crafts. Cookie decor, and character calvacade which sounds like a mini parade.

We will be there during Oct 22-28th with my Dad, and my two kids ages 12 & 14. Are all the rides open?

I think this might be a new event this year for DL but Im interested in knowing too so bumping

Hi disneydizzy2.

We have a separate forum devoted just to Disneyland. I'm moving your post there in the hopes that someone will be able to answer your questions.

Have fun at Disneyland! :)

It's not new, we went last year. It is only in DCA, they close the park early on the nights they have the event. Only ticketed guests can enter, there are candy stations set up thru out the park and they provide (or did last year) bags for goodies. Rides are open and characters are out, they usually have villans out. Last year we saw Lady Tremayne and her daughters out.

We went last year also.... It was lots of fun.... we went earilier in the month and it was great!!!! all the rides were open and it wasn't very busy so there were no lines at all!!!!!!! Everyone can dress up not just just kids, and they have all the charecters out and about!!! It was lots of fun!!! If we go next year in october we will be going back for sure!!!!!! And you get TONS of candy!!!!! It was lots of fun, they have special dance partys and lighting... its just tons of fun!!!

I'm hoping to do this while on our trip this October, but the only night it will be happening is after we are at a convention all day for Blizzcon. Do you have to use a regular park ticket day as well as having tickets for the party itself? I would hate to waste an entire day, but I really want to enjoy this experience. Thanks in advance for any replies!

No you do not need a ticket for the day... and even if you were going for the day you would need a whole other ticket..... But to answer your question no you don't need to use a day ticket just hte ticket you buy will get you in.... I also heard if you go a night that DL is open late you can go in there after but i'm not sure since the night we went to was a eairly close for DL..... but if you can go in you can't wear a costume in to DL (well anyone over 11)... so just remember that...

It's a hard ticket event, meaning it has a SEPARATE admission from the day tickets. And the price includes parking. It seems the perfect situation for you.

I don't know, to the best of my remembrance they did not scan our AP's, only our event tickets. You could call to find out for sure though. :)

it is a hard ticket event only. No scanning of Ap's or tickets not for the event.

Yes, that is correct. This is a hard ticket event and a seperate ticket is needed for entry. If you just want to go to the event, you just need a Mickets Trick or Treat ticket. If you want to go to the park during the day and the party at night, you need both your general admission ticket or AP and the special event ticket.

Currently, only APers and Disney Visa cardholders can purchase their tickets. General sale will not start until August 1, 2008. Tickets can sell out fast for certain dates, be sure to order early. You can order online if you are an APer through the AP website, or you can call tickets by mail and use your Disney Visa.

If you are not and APer or a Disney Visa cardholder, and are interested in becoming a Disney Visa cardholder, PM me I can provide you with more info and with referral info if you are interested.

HTH!
