I know I read on the board somewhere that you can order in room celebrations at DL. I tried to find the post, but could not. I also tried google, but everything was for WDW. Does anyone know where I can find information on this?

Thank you! I love these packages! I am not sure given how much we are spending on the trip between the time at DL and Vegas that I can justify spending $400. That and since this is a surprise I am already having a hard enough time hiding everything I am already buying. I wish they had a birthday option that was a little cheaper. I would love the decorations, but I do not need the gifts. Like a $100 option would be nice.

I agree... When I booked the package for my parents, I asked about something small just to decorate our room and she said for $20 they would put balloons in our room... Good enough!

I love that the Tink package is right around $100. Think I may have to set that up for my little Tink!

You could do a customised one? Its not quite as cool as an in-room celebration, but you can state the price and they will do balloons for you.

I got a customised one for my husband in Sept because I just couldnt justify the $$$ on decs (we were arriving in Disney after Vegas!).

It costs $25 to customise, but you can say "spend $100 but please include the fee" and they will stick right to it. You can tell them a theme or ask for specific items. Like I said, he's an adult, likes Mickey, please include a mug, coffee, sweets, a t-shirt etc etc.

The balloon bouquet was done for free (though unfortunately they put birthday balloons for an anniversary - doh!!).

As I told them it was a big anniversary, they also did a turn down service with rose petals, chocs and a long stemmed rose which was lovely - and they didnt charge us either.

So a few more options for you.....

im doing something for my son, i bought a melifcent bean bag dragon for him, and im gona get the autograph book and pen and not sure what else i find small and put it out when hes asleep the first night (before the park) and boom he will wake up wow look what tink left lol \
better then 30-120 that i dont have this time seeing im going with my dad before my check i normaly would spend on suviners comes in lol (so im budgeting big time this time)

GOLLY that is all so expensive! HOLY COW!

However I will say in 2009 for my son's 6th birthday when we went, I splurged on a treasure chest type birthday thing for him that had a cake included, and to this day he remembers it with a smile!! I feel like what was given technically was worth like $20 (I think I paid $90?) but I guess it did the job, and having it ready for your arrival and giving your room that extra personal touch I guess is worth it if they give memories like that!
