DL gate number that opens last minute?

When planning to use gate 14 when it's very crowded, you have to be prepared to be confident and shimmy around the existing line(s) for the adjacent gate(s). Sometimes the line to the left feeds gate 14, and sometimes a whole group of people clues in and hops over to line up at 14. People in the adjacent line can consider you cutting it you walk past them. But you're not, since technically each gate gets its own individual line.
