I know this bus stops a lot of different places but would it not be as bad coming from SNA since its a smaller airport? How long could I expect it to take to get to Park Vue Inn from here? Its $70 round trip for all four of us so I am really considering this and my kids would think it was cool to be on a bus lol

We did this in 2013 to Desert Palms, I think we were the first stop and it was about 20 minutes from the time we left the airport.
One thing I didn't realize was that I needed to schedule my pick up time on our departure day at least 24 hours in advance. The hotel never mentioned that and my voucher didn't specify the 24 hour part, so the morning we were leaving we had a bit of an issue. We would definitely take the bus again from SNA. I think the time it takes to get to your resort is dependent on where the other passengers are going.

did you have to wait a long time at the airport?

Not that I remember. Once we found the bus and got our things loaded and on the bus we sat there a little bit, but not so long that it seemed unnecessary. I really can't remember a specific time though. Our 5yo and 2yo didn't get bored if that helps.

Another option is a taxi. It will be about $80 roundtrip plus tip, but the great thing is, unlike the bus, you don't have to wait for it, and it won't make a bunch of other stops at hotels along the way, so it ends up being a faster option. There is a taxi stand outside of the airport that can grab you a cab so you don't even have to call for one. Also if your family has a lot of luggage just ask for a taxi van. They are the same price as a car.

The problem with the taxi (or Uber, or private car service) is that depending on the age of your children, you'll need to provide car seats.

We did the DL Bus back in 2012 from SNA to the Fairfield Marriott (right down the street from Park Vue, next to HoJo's) it took FOREVER and our 14 month old was SO ancy! From the time we got on the bus at the airport (it had just arrived) I think it was over 2 hours before we were dropped off at our hotel. It was awful. That said, In May I'm potentially taking my now-5-year-old a girl's trip in May and we will be taking the DL bus again since I won't have a car seat and I refuse to trust the provided car seats from car services (we had a big issue with Lansky's back in 2014 where they provided illegal-for-the stated age & Expired car seats for my kids and at the time said they would do the install and didn't know how to properly install them, it was a mess).

We will have a 8yr old that won't need a seat and my DD will be almost 8(in Oct) and she may possibly be tall enough to go without one I would have to check she is pretty tall but regardless she would only need a booster and if she does I am thinking about getting one of those portable ones.

I have had to wait for the bus to come for about 30 minutes. We also have been on the bus for 1 hour. We haven't used them since, and switched to SuperShuttle, but now we just use Uber.

I'm thinking about using Uber, do you know if they go to the Disneyland Hotel?

How much is Uber from SNA?

We use the basic Uber for the 3 of us and the most we paid was $25. We are using them again this weekend!
