DL Experts - Easiest way to get from PP to DL park?

We are unfamiliar with the layout of the PP. And the maps at disney.com are hard to decipher. How do we get from PP to the DL park? I understand that at DCA you walk right from the PP hotel through an entrance by Mullholland Drive entrance. (P.S. Do they still have that goofy limo ride attraction?) Help!

There was never a "Goofy" (as in character) limo ride. But Superstar Limo is closed and likely will not reopen anytime soon. There have been many rumor regarding this atttraction and none have panned out.

Thanks, but I meant "goofy" as in "that was about the "goofiest" attraction ever!" I liked it, but it seemed a little silly.

So, it is closed and no hopes for a future attaction. Too bad. Thanks anyway.

To get to DCA you have to walk across the street and then into an entrance next to mullholand madness. There is a stop light for traffic to enter the Grand Californian, and this is where you walk across the street. To get to DL, you walk towards the Disneyland hotel, and then to Downtown disney. From here you have a choice of either hopping on the monorail or walking all the way to the front entrance. Or if you're going in after DCA opens (and have hoppers), you walk through DCA. That would probably be my personal choice. If it's a popular entrance time (like in the morning) you will have already done the bag check, so you won't have to wait in the long line at the entrance plaza. Monorail is also a great way to go, probably less line for bag check, but if they've only got one monorail running and lots of people entering it could take a while.

Oh, I'm sure they have some ideas as to what they will do with that area.

You can also cut through the GC hotel. This drops you inside DTD at a "special" entrance for GCH guests. We found this the easiest, as you enter the main doors, take a left follow the hallway and the signs. You'll then exit the hotel to the right and take a shortly after leaving the GCH "lobby" area. I can't remember which stores you end up between, but it's much easier than walking around the hotel. We used this often when we stayed at PP.

Funny though, "Goofy's Limo Service" was one of the rumored replacements for SSL. Along with a monster inn replacement. And the oh so popular, domolish everything from Millionaire to Hollywood and Dine to make room for Rockin' Roller Coaster.
