Disney has ruined bubbles for me. They're everywhere in the parks.

I hate, hate, hate the bubble wands. There is nothing that annoys me more than having to walk through an endless stream of bubbles.

Our kids love bubble wands. They are a stroller necessity on the walk home from the park. Did I mention they *love* them.

My daughter with Down syndrome uses a wheelchair around the park because she’s a slow walker and has bad feet and just gets tired quickly. I don’t understand why they don’t have a wheelchair rental place next to the Grand California hotel park entrance into the California Adventure. Essentially you can get in early as a guest but then need to walk all the way back to park entrance to get a chair or stroller. Or like we did the last time in may, exhaust and cajole her to get to rides in CA before moving to Disneyland and getting a chair there. Seems like a small thing that would make a difference for a lot of people.

For the price of the hotel room at the Grand, it should be a perk offered to those who need to rent a chair. Have it brought to them when they check in/arrive to the hotel.

Space Invaders
Im just back from Disneyland. I did Fantasmic Blue Bayou Dining Package and waited in line before the CM's opened the viewing section to make sure I was second into the viewing section so that I could specifically choose a spot at the railings centered on the stage. I scouted back a bit from the railings and made myself comfortable on my Fantasmic cushion. At one sage I had shifted my legs and there was a gap between me and the railings. Suddenly from no where a Japanese family, who obviously had not done the Blue Bayou dining package as they didnt have cushions ran into the section. The dad and one child squished right up behind a group of girls at the railings and the mom and and a second child tried to jump over my legs into the gap between me and the railings. Oh hell no lady, you will NOT sit there. I yelled at her and unfolded my legs and she got the message pretty quick.

Disney Moms who go against CM instructions
At Radiator Racers I was single rider. I was put into a car with a Disney family, the mom with 2 kids in the back, the dad and grandfather in the front. The mom wasnt happy that I was put in their car and tried to tell me that I couldnt join her family, when as a single rider I was sent to their car by the CM. She thought she could intimidate me by saying oh we are all one group, you have to join another car. I said no, you are a group of 5 and as a single rider I have been told to fill in the extra space and I got into the car.

I’ll second BadPinkTink above...last night DD and I waited for our first ever castle view of the fireworks show. Stood next to a nice Dad who had approximately 12-18 INCHES of space in front of him. An Asian gal (scouting for her large party of 8) started angling for that minuscule space by LEANING on my stroller (like right next to me) and peering around at the Dad like, “uh, is that footprint taken??” Lol! Needless to say when the CMs had us do the people crunch, they managed to maneuver their way in front of us!! Annoying, but I feel like there’s nothing to do at that point. Lose my cool or be zen about it. Still...pet peeve for sure!!

My biggest pet peeve are people who don't want to be there, both kids and adults. We went around D23 a couple years ago and I have never seen so many kids crying and asking their parents to leave in the evenings. When your kids are crying and begging to leave and go to sleep, and you are with other adults who could stay with other kids, and you choose to ignore you child instead of listening to them, it's awful. You are just disturbing everyone around you, it's their trip too. Adults who are there with their families yelling about how much "this sucks", "the lines are stupid", and other such statements dampers everyone around you. If you are that unhappy, go find a quiet place to relax, away from families trying to have a good time.

omg, yes, I dont know why but I really noticed this , this year. Walking through Fantasyland about 7pm, you really notice it, so many kids crying, and proclaiming loudly they are tired and dont want to do this ride. The worst was about mid day in Carsland, in the line for Maters Tractors. A mother and a 6 year old joined the line behind me. It was the longest 15 minute wait eeevvverr! Right from the start the kid was crying and saying he was tired and this ride is stupid, and then screaming. The mother kept saying we are in Disney, we are doing rides today. The poor kid just seemed exhausted and even tried to lie down on the ground but the mother just insisted on doing the ride.

Waiting to enjoy the fireworks from your perfect spot only to have somebody in front of you hold up their iPad over their head to film the entire fireworks show! Argh....really annoying! Same with World of Color and Fantasmic!

• Guests that jam the FP queue because they actually have Star Tours FPs rather than Buzz and they then engage the attending CM for ten times longer than is necessary with endless questions. I'm pretty sure some of them are there at least three hours after closing as they defend their Ph.D dissertations to CMs manning the FP return lines ;-).

CMs used to just take your paper tickets, now we have to wait for guests to get their phone out, find the fastpass on their phone, then figure out how to scan it into the machine. Not to mention the guests who didn't realize they are in the fastpass line and don't have a fastpass at all.

This was a major area in need of improvement when we were there last week. The head of the fastpass lines are always a logjam.

What a perfect repurpose of the BOARDING PARTY signage!! Move to the front of major FP/MP attractions and run a continual "how to" tutorial!! Right??

YES!!! We were behind a man on Soarin' who had FP's for 15 people on his phone. 15 PEOPLE! And those groups never smoosh to the side to let people use the other machine that is open. I swear, they NEVER move!!

We also had a family of 5 in front of us on Grizzly River Run who thought just buying the MaxPass let them on any ride. To be fair that is like Fast Lane at many parks, but the nice CM went on a tutorial of the app to show them how to use MP. Now you know mid day summer GRR FP line is always long before you scan your Fast Pass. Oh boy that thing was crazy long after that! Lots of grumbling behind us.

We learned to use our paper admission tickets. So much easier than the phone, and we could all quickly scan our own pass.

And people who stand in line and discuss their war stories in full detail.... stood in line in front of a guy talking about blowing off heads in Iran definitely took me out of “the happiest place on earth”

Holding up their camera, their phone, their iPad, ... OR their kid! Especially when that kid is well over toddler age, like 8 or 9, and who now creates a 10+ foot wall that no one can see over or around for several rows back. We had to ask a plaid to point this out to a gentleman once on Main Street for fireworks. Said gentleman was well over 6' tall and very broad. With his older child on his shoulders, he was gigantic. We couldn't even see the castle, much less the sky over the castle. The plaid immediately saw our plight (and the plight of a dozen rows behind us), addressed the behemoth, and asked him to remove the kid from his shoulders and to move to the side. The guy was actually shocked that he was being asked about this -- blocking people's view?? -- and refused at first. The plaid was firm and the guy finally, reluctantly, agreed to move.
Our suggestion around here is to hold the kids on your hip, not your shoulders. If you can see, they can see (usually more than you think). And the nurses at First Aid have stories to tell about the injuries they see every day from shoulder kids and the parents. Not pretty and not magical.

I guess they don’t allow it anymore, but the people that put towels and blankets down to hold space for parades (and they aren’t there or one person is saving space for 5+)

Flash photography on dark rides!!! It makes me so annoyed.

Also, people who film the durations of shows, rides, fireworks, etc. Are you really going to sit through 20 minutes of iPhone recorded fireworks? No, your not.

Not just annoying, but can actually be dangerous for others. Flash on dark rides can cause medical issues for other guests who are sensitive to this. I wish more people were aware of this and realized that their carelessness/inconsiderate behavior/cluelessness can put others at risk.

Our grandson (age 7) had a HUGE pet peeve on our last trip.

Background: He and his brothers love to watch the Disney Sing Along Songs DVD "Disneyland Fun." In this video it skips very important. It prepared him for life-size characters and lots of rides. But never once did it show....

Lines.

7yo grandson was peeved at the audacity that Disneyland would make him wait in lines... Because, you know, they didn't show any lines in the DVD!

saw this at Blue Bayou a few weeks ago in June. I do all my reservations between 60 and 50 days in advance, so I went to the host stand to check in for my Blue Bayou lunch reservation. It was about 1.15pm and the lady in front of my was VERY disappointed that no walk ups were available and kept asking the host to check for this time and that time. Ok I know that in June crowds were way down but still Blue Bayou is a signature restaurant AND does the Fantasmic dining package. There were 2 Fantasmic shows on that night, so of course Blue Bayou will be busy.
