OK. So after much lurking and reading about other people's impending Disney excursions, I decided to write one of my own.

The Cast of Characters:

Me, a.k.a. Dizzie- due to be 25 this year, have only been to Disney once, when I was 10, iwth my mom. I am a die-hard fan of all things Disney-related. I own almost every Disney movie, and quote many of them on a daily basis.

My mom a.k.a. Greymom- A kid at heart. She loves Disney and the Magic and is excited not only that she gets to go, but that Ive handled ALL of the planning.:yay:

Collectively known as the midgets:

Zachary a.k.a. Spiderman- He's 3, and he's a big ball of hyper. He hasn't stopped talking since the day he started. Thjis is his birthday trip, he will turn 4 while we are there. He's excited to to see the Little Einsteins and Mickey Mouse, period, end of story.

Alexandria a.k.a. Princess Pooty Pants- She will almost be 15 months. She started walking almost 3 weeks ago, and gets into EVERYTHING. She demands attention. However, she quite attentively watches playhouse every morning with her big brother, whom she loves dearly. That is unless he tries to love her back, at which points she bites.:confused3

We are traveling to Disney from Philadelphia by car... Thats right the four of us packed into my mom's Saturn Ion for what promises to ba a fun, albeit exhausting, road trip. We leave the 16th of March. That's right folks, 8 measley, teenie-weenie, little days... Who's Excited?!?!?!?! IM EXCITED!!!!

Now this trip has been almost a year in the making, well 9 months to be exact. We have had some sever family drama over the past few years, and I haven't had a real vacation Since my freshman year of college. We decided we neede a break..

Should we go on a cruise?
...nah Spiderman is deathly afraid of the ocean, and I know its a big boat, but who'd want to risk it?

The jersey Shore?
...nah, the Shore is alright when it's you and your girlfriends and you want to go down for the weekend, but I just don't know about spending a whole week there with the kids.

Disney?

... Now you're talking. But can we afford it?

And so the pricing began, I send day and night on many a travel site, on-site vs. offsite, yadda yadda yadda.... We found a hotel, I checked it out on tripadvisor and voila! We are Booked!!!! Yay!!!!

This was back in September. Since then I have spent every working (oops I meant waking, actually I didnt, but uh.....) day scouring the Dis and checking out the guides and putting together the details that would become my kids first Disney trip.

UP NEXT: scheduling ADR's, tax returns, and a mountain of kiddie clothes.....
