Hi Ladies,
For those who did your own Menu & Table cards - What sizes did you make them?

I wanted to do Table names instead of the generic ones Disney does, but I don't know what size to make them.

I want to do menu's and have them wrapped in the napkin but I'm not sure what size they need to be.

Anyone who could help and let me know what sizes they used, it would be IMMENNSLY helpful!

Thanks!:flower3:

Here is an example of what I am doing for table numbers. I was just going to post it in my PJ. I plan to put "Table 1, 2, 3, etc.." across the top. I originally was thinking about putting a monogram on these too, but i think they are getting too "busy".

Then I have a little design with some rhinestone embelishments and across the bottom is some wording. Some I have are: my soulmate, i do, love of my life, happily ever after...

My colors are black and white, but instead of doing a table number, you could do a name, or even better... a character or theme for each.

This is my DIY menu. I ordered them at vistaprint with a code and just paid shipping on them. I also ordered my place settings there with the same design. I think you can get 10 items free per order and just pay the shipping on them. Turns out great! :)

The menu cards are the "oversize portcards" and the place cards are just business cards. The menu cards are glossy and look very professional.

I love vistaprint! I have used them for everything for the invitations thank you cards and engagement party stuff and even loads of things for work, but I never thought of that!

Genius~!!

I did table names instead of numbers and what I did was I bought pink cardstock paper..cut it in 4's and that was the size. Then I glued on cream colored paper about 1/2 inch smaller on each side than the pink. Here's a pic of it.. not that close but it's the best I have and I used Disney's table number holders.

I also made my menu cards, but I didn't have them in my napkins. But for size, I used the same pink cardstock (8.5 x 11) and glued the same cream colored paper over it. Just made it all at home and printed with my printer. Might be cheaper than having them made and you have quality control!

We're heading to our planning session in about a month so I decided to go ahead and make a sample menu card and place card to bring with us and show our planner. I'm so excited how they turned out!

Brian's been fussing at me because he doesn't want us to overwhelm our guests with Mickey Mouse, so I was afraid he'd veto these. But that wasn't the case at all. His first reaction was "Those are gorgeous!"

The menu card base is 8.5 x 11 silver cardstock, oriented "landscape" and cut into three equal-sized pieces. So each card will be roughly 8.5 x 3.66:

(The bows on Minnie are fuschia-colored. I need a better camera!!!)

Here are the place cards. Ladies will have Minnie's on their cards and the guys will have Mickey's (with bowties) on their cards.
