That celebration looks soo yummy. I'm sorry it was soo hot. I guess I can't complain about that. We didn't have much "its to hot weather".

How was the Mara? I was looking at that one for a future trip but like always there are so many to choose from. Not that I need to have it set in stone anytime soon.. as there is no set trip scheduled.

How was the pool at AKL?

It was absolutely wonderful -- I loved laying on a lounge chair, sipping a beverage, and reading while the kids played. It was just heavenly. I think there was only one day the entire trip that we didn't go to the pool.

You need to schedule your next trip -- even if it is a couple of years away -- then you can look forward to it! The Mara was outstanding -- we liked every thing we ate there.

I know- you are right. We were planning to take another trip spring 2011. But we are stuggling on when exactly to go- because we want to have it after I graduate- to celebrate! but we are afraid to go around the same time as last time. BUT I might have better news in one of my posts. but I will wait to share until I update my TR.

Ah, I am so flattered! However, I don't think there will be a PTR beforehand -- I will try very hard to get my TR finished before I leave -- I am going to do a Food and Wine TR though -- I already have a title and everything.

Your kids are so wonderful! I really think that we need to plan a trip that coincides so our two girls and our two boys can meet each other! How fun would that be??? I am glad I get to be cool by association (with Jen and Connor) in David's eyes! Works for me!

By the way, I got an email from Starbucks yesterday informing me that the Pumpkin Spice Latte is back for the fall! I am practically going to skip there to get one this weekend.

Thank you! It was a hot day, but it was hotter, I think, on Thursday and Friday -- the next two days in the TR.
