Divas, Zebra Domes, and Pixie Dust! A Week in an African Paradise! New TR Link Pg.145

Oh CP..sorry about your meltdown. Yes you are entitled to one given the circumstances. This is what happens to me when I try to please everyone. Sounds like you got over it quickly tho. You just need a girls trip or a solo trip. :grouphug: No meters no kids no worries! :thumbsup2 When are you going in Oct? We'll be there for a short weekend trip 10/02 - 10/4. Just love MNSSHP.

 Hold on...let me pick my jaw up off the floor...

Well, I certainly hope it didn't cause you any MORE pain as it fell to the floor?? However, just because I am a "man" doesn't mean I am completely "dumb". I mean, I had already read a good portion of those responding to your update......yep, it was certainly time to straddle the fence for a bit!!!! :rolleyes1 However, I will still try to offer some insight for the "other" side, when it appears it won't get me hauled out to the courtyard square and flogged!! :rotfl2: Years of experience have taught me that sometimes it is better to assist the Captain of the sinking ship (poor Charles), by manning the lifeboats away from it!!! (especially, if the Captain hasn't left me any ammunition to fight with!!)!! :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl: Yep, sometimes when you don't have a dawg in the hunt, it's better to just sit on the fence and watch 'em all run by!! :thumbsup2

I do think it's fair to say that a new update would be lovely!!! :goodvibes

I am trying to draw mine out as long as possible! :rotfl:

I really would like to get a move on mine, but with reading so many others there just isn't time...
It sounds like more than one of us need to get pre-trips started (just not for the same wonderful trip).

I am pretty sure that I would not risk the flogging! :rotfl2:

Ok...all done reading!!! What a great start. Sorry that your DH is missing so much of the fun. Wish I had been there ahead of time to tell you that your DS does NOT need to order off the kids menu. Thanks for the KP tip. DD will want to do them all too!!!

Yes, a little boy! We're so excited.

Congratulations on your coming attraction! :earsboy:

It is fun to keep the trip alive by just doing sections at a time, and what wigd says is true:

a person just doesn't have time to write 'em, read 'em, and do normal life things, too.

I enjoy every installment whenever they come! :thumbsup2

I saw this and thought of your trip report....

Haha! I'm trying to get mine done ASAP so I can spend all my time reading everyone elses!

:lmao: I already know I am going to go through some massive withdrawal next year so I already have it planned out -- draw this one out as long as possible, drag the October one out as long as possible, and then start the June 2011 PTR in August 2010. ;)

We will actually be there at the same time -- we are going October 1 through the 4th! Where are you staying?

Goodness gracious! Believe it or not the latest update was just yesterday morning.

I don't know if I will do a PTR for October -- I may still be working on this one like MeMom does finishing it just as we are getting ready to leave again. ;)

Following you from LL's TR!!! Subbing and going back to read all the fun!!!

:welcome:

I am pretty sure that I would not risk the flogging! :rotfl2:

So, that's what one looks like -- I wonder how it would look in my backyard? :rolleyes1

Which is why I haven't cleaned the ceiling fans in months...:lmao:

:eek::rotfl2:

Maybe I should change my TR title to Zebra Domes, Divas, and Giraffe Tongues! :lmao:

Winkers you find the best pictures.

Yes, she does!

I didn't know giraffes were carnivores!

It's because it is a leaf-flavored squirrel! :rotfl:

Just caught up and feel human again, that I am not the only mom to have a disney melt down :)Mine was in MK on our last full day in the parks!

Although Kim Possible in Norway got me 'snippy" I did not give into her evil ways!

I really wish I knew it would suck DD in and ruin the plans I had for our WS tour. WS is our down time to stroll. I am also so OCD I have to tour WS in order, however this trip we planned to go Mexico to Canada as prior trip was Canada to Mexico (OMG did I just reveal that!!!)

Anyhow our Norway mission had us running back and forth, back and forth. However due to this stall tactic by the evil KP, did allow me to compromise with DD that I would ride Maelstrom, I did explain to the family our run through the movie auditorium was because KP had but me behind schedule, so thank her that I was not able to learn more about the country.

Upon our deposit of the Kimmunicator in the box, DD thought we were able to pick it up after lunch! :rolleyes1

So thank you for sharing, nice to know you're not alone.

Coronado Springs. We had to go on a weekend because DH started a new job and can't take much time off yet. We can't afford to rent DVC points on a weekend yet. ;) I booked with a AP rate. I don't mind. We like CSR...anything but a value bed. :rotfl: Where are you staying?

If my experience with Connor and KP can help just one parent, then it makes it all worthwhile in my opinion! The missions, themselves, are sooo neat -- I know you will enjoy doing it. I think even Tricia and her cousin will get a kick out of them. Chelsea wasn't too interested in the beginning but got sucked right into them.

I'm thinking that's exactly what's going to happen to the girls... then they'll be begging to spend the entire day doing KP missions. :rotfl:

Is the Kim Possible Saga this year's Toy Story Mania?

Most definitely!

Yep, while I think KP is a really neat little game, it does have you darting all over the country where your mission is taking place and does take out a good bit of time from just strolling WS.

We will be at Caribbean Beach Resort. I would love to stay at AKL again, but it was cheaper at CBR, we haven't stayed there before, and it is closer to Epcot (we are planning on doing the Food and Wine Festival the majority of the time).

I'm thinking that's exactly what's going to happen to the girls... then they'll be begging to spend the entire day doing KP missions. :rotfl:

:lmao: Make sure you set ground rules going in! ;)

There are those in this world who would say we are sick individuals.

Kathy

Now, see, there is a job for me. I could just go around with other people's kids all day doing missions while the parents had free time to go do other things! :thumbsup2

Goodness your TR was lively yesterday! :goodvibes I was pages behind....!

So sorry about the 'diva moment' at Epcot, but I agree like everyone else-it was completely understandable considering the situation. I am certain I would have reacted in a veryyyy similar fashion!

The KP missions sound really fun! Thankfully Henry is not old enough to read yet (or even realize what we are doing!)...gonna milk that while I can...hee hee. ;)

Otherwise, it looks like a great day at Epcot! I'm happy to read you liked your food at EU, our burgers were awful there-we must have hit it on a bad day!
