I remember someone saying distilled water can be provided in the stateroom for those who have a need. How do you go about requesting this and is there a charge?
I don't know if it's distilled, but you can pre-order bottled water for your stateroom by calling DCL and ordering it prior to your cruise. We've done this for every sailing & always will. It's nice to have bottles of water in the fridge 24/7, and you can take them with you to port, too.I remember someone saying distilled water can be provided in the stateroom for those who have a need. Oh, great. It's not for a CPAP, but to mix with a medication, so it does have to be distilled, not just bottled water. That's great that the TA will do it. Thanks.Yes you can put it under special request and they will give you a gallon of distilled water. We do this for my husband's cpap machine...no charge
If you are using a Travel agent you will have to have them request it. We went through Costco so they had to call them and ask for it to be in the room
We love the bottled water, too, but I just bought the water they sold us on the first day we were on the ship. This is the distilled that we need for a medical reason, though.I don't know if it's distilled, but you can pre-order bottled water for your stateroom by calling DCL and ordering it prior to your cruise. TA does not have to do it. We always book with a TA, but have never had an issue calling ourselves to ensure that we have a bottle in our stateroom.
Oh, okay. I'll try that first. If it works, great. If not, I'll call the TA. Thanks.Agreed. I just called in and requested it. I did NOT go through the "change my reservation" prompt, or whatever it was, though. Got to a CM, told them what I wanted, and THEN gave them my reservation info.
Great. So you didn't even have to pre-order the distilled water? I think I might anyway, just in case.Ok, just got off the Wonder this morning (sad) and my husband brought his Cpap machine onboard. On the first day we called guest services from the cabin and asked for the water and an extension cord. It was delivered promptly to our room. A gallon of distilled water and the cord. We just had to return the cord at the end of the cruise back to guest services and they crossed us off the list of borrowing it. As far as the water it was a brand new unopened gallon of water.
Did not request it in advance.
