Distance Of Epcot and HS From Boardwalk?

I'd say a 10 min walk to gate at Epcot.
Maybe 20 min walk to Studios.

I timed 25 minutes from Studios to beach club....I was moving though;)

Its a nice walk....one of my favorite resorts for convenience.
Happy planning

Here's a couple of maps of walking distances around the EPCOT resorts:

Last August we stayed in the last room on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool, it was a 1BR. We had a window on the left wall of our room (b/c we were the last one) that overlooked the waterway to DHS. So for us, we could go down the steps, out the side door and had a really quick walk to DHS, so much so it would almost have made no sense to go back for the boat. Conversely, our walk to Epcot seemed more time consuming since we had to backtrack through the huge hallways, through the lobby, down the stairs and through the courtyard just to get to the boardwalk.

Point being, with BWV being so big your walking times or convenience to the boats is hard to predict, and definitely will vary depending on where you are. However, either way it's not a huge variable but I would say no, in general it's not quite as close to MK as BLT is. Almost, but not quite.

We have always enjoyed the walk to DHS. It's very serene along the water. It also allows me to justify getting the hot dog with mac-n-cheese, bacon and truffle oil as a reward when I get to DHS!!!

I can tell you that taking the boat in most cases will not be faster (b/c of the multiple stops) than walking, but it can be nice at least on the return trip to rest your legs if you've been walking all day.

Have fun, that area is our favorite. So much to do.

ITA. We very rarely use the boats. Once in a while we will hop on a boat on our return to the BW or the Y &BC. We usually get off at the Swan/Dolphin and walk over the bridge back to our resort. Much quicker. We also love the Epcot area resorts, so great!:cloud9:

we have walked (quickly) from DHS to Epcot in 20 minutes to see Illuminations after Fantasmic. Strolling takes a bit longer. :lmao:

we love the 20ish minute stroll to DHS from the BWVs - it is so nice to just chat, stop to look at the bunnies, squirrels, and birds along the walkway. of course, EPCOT is quicker, and enjoyable in its own way.: strolling past the old time stores, gorgeous vistas from the gazebo and bridge, etc. we love that there are no buses or cars, nothing to detract from the beautiful walk.

imho, the BLT-MK feels about the same as the DHS walk, if you consider resort to entry.
