Distance from Marriot Grande Vista to WDW

Can someone give me some real world travel times from the Grande Vista to WDW properties. Mapquest is saying between 17 & 21 minutes which hubby and I think seems way off. We are guessing closer to 35. Thanks, Tonya

Hi-We just got back on 10/25/10 and stayed at the Marriott Grande Vista. It took us about 15-20 minutes to drive (this is not counting the time it took from the actual park with monorail time, walking to parking lot, etc). The ride was not bad at all. I drive at regular speeds; slower when I don't know where I am going

It is approx 6 miles from the Grande Vista to Downtown Disney and approx 11 miles to the Magic Kingdom via I-4.
Travel times can vary greatly depending on the time of day, I-4 can be very congested during rush hour times.
My best guess would be to allow 30 minutes during peak times.

Thanks - We usually go back and swim mid day but we never stay this far. It is going to be hot next week so I am not sure what I am going to do. Guess we will see how traffic is each day!

Animal Kingdom - 12.5 miles
Hollywood Studios - 9.5 miles
Epcot - 10.5 miles
Magic Kingdom parking lot - 12.5 miles
Downtown Disney - 6.5 miles
Actual mileage will vary a bit depending upon the route but those are pretty sound for comparison purposes. Those are point to point distances from the Grande Vista security gate to the various park parking areas. Seventeen to 21 minutes seems entirely reasonable to me for point to point travel but then you've got to add in time to get into a parking space and transportation from the lots to the parks' ticket areas.
