Distance from Hilton Bonnet Creek to Downtown Disney?

Hey! Cross your fingers!!! I "MIGHT" be approved to go to a Credentialing Conference in October in Orlando - I hope I get to go!

Anyway, I need to know the distance between the Hilton Bonnet Creek Orlando and Downtown Disney. The hotel map shows it close and I tried to do a mapquest using the hotel address and Downtown Disney and it didn't really work.

I know it won't be walking distance and they have a free shuttle, but I wanted to see if I had a two hour break or so, if I could get a taxi, go to DTD and get back if it is really close.

Please advise and WISH ME LUCK IN GETTING IT APPROVED!

Very close but probably too far to walk and no sidewalks. Depending on which end (Downtown Disney is very long) my guess would be a couple of miles.

Not walkable, first of all because you'd have to cross a major multiple-lane road on property and I don't believe there are sidewalks. Definitely an easy cab ride though. It's roughly 3 miles.

Use Google maps. I entered:

and

1482 E Buena Vista Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-8422 (Downtown Disney Area Information: Wolfgang Puck Cafe)

A taxi should not be too expensive from BC to DTD. It is close. Under a 5 minute drive.

I was at Hilton Bonnet Creek in February and took a taxi to DTD. It was $9 each way.

I'd estimate that it's 3 to 3 1/2 miles from that hotel to the middle of Downtown Disney - say if you were dropped off at the old entrance to Pleasure Island near where Raglan Road is now.
