I just saw the Rashguard swim suit for boys (Buzz). It looks to me like a wet suit for divers. I was just wondering if anyone has bought these and how their kids liked them. My son is 9 and I don't know if he would wear it or not. I am thinking it would give him more protection from the sun, he is pretty pale. But it if is hot and sticky or if it is "geeky" I don't think he would wear it. I don't want to show him because I want it to be one of his surprise disney trip gifts. Anyone have any opinions on these?
Thanks.
My boys are now (almost) 15 & 11.
The 15 year old had one of those types of swimsuits when he was maybe... 7-ish. Loved it! He loved it, loved it, loved it!
When we were'nt in a pool - he'd still want to wear it. I clearly remember him wearing it to bed, many many times. He'd wear it playing around the house too - like some sort of super hero uniform.

We didnt get rid of it, until an entire butt cheek would be exposed when wearing it, after a miniscule hole turned into...well, a butt cheek sized hole. He really liked it. I bet you any money if I asked him about it, he'd remember it... (man, they grow up so FAST!)
BUT - again - he was 7. I dont know if a 9 year old would think.... you know, my almost 11 year old would like it, though.
I say go for it. I saw the price. It's pretty darn good. And if he only uses it at WDW - you'd still get your money's worth.
