I’ll try to remember to check. Today the SAB hot tubs were non-heated “therapy tubs”. Lifeguards said they don’t know when they’ll work for heat, waiting on engineering. Quiet pool hot tubs work.
For the front- the covered driveway is entirely enclosed for work in a rectangle. You can walk around the sides. There is a mini drive in front of it for everyone but buses, you drive up one side of a U and park on the other side of the U to load/off-load. It’s sorta functioning. Arrived around 9 today, a few cars in and some people in a 15 passenger van had all their junk spread out around their van. They were like half loading and yet half unloading their various bags and some were literally sitting on the curb eating breakfast (where my driver needed to park). They had one haggard looking bellman with a couple carts of bags who as soon as he loaded bags in the van the people pulled them out and asked people if they wanted random things from them and then left the bags in the driveway scattered around the van! It was the craziest thing- for goodness sakes this is neither a living room nor a picnic zone. The mind boggled.
*rant warning*
I unloaded my stuff on the nearest cart (because groceries, couldn’t haul it myself) as no other bellmen were around but a cart was and rolled it halfway up to the hotel when suddenly 2 valets appeared and told to me stop! Guests aren’t allowed to touch the carts!! One of the valets pushed my cart back to the unloading area and had me stand there in the sun while they found a bellman. Thankfully I was sun blocked up for the water park lol. A bellman appeared after a few mins and ticketed it and said I had to call from my room for it, didn’t matter I had my room ready text. I get that they don’t allow guests to access carts, but not allowing bell services to bring stuff right to the room when you have your room ready notification? This is the stupidest system. Major hotels will escort you or meet you up there shortly, or when slammed tell you they will meet you up there in a bit extra- not call us and get in line to get your stuff. Luckily it was a quiet morning and I had my stuff in 15 mins (shockingly rapid as far as my Disney Bell experiences go actually!) but if you’re arriving during a busy time, plan accordingly.
