I know! Going July 1st and instead of being ecstatic they made the end of June deadline I'm just like...oh...no slide? Really? Hmmph....

Gotta get over it and enjoy the beautiful pool....my kid will just have to deal...it'll make him tougher...he'll tell stories to his grandkids..."you know when I stayed at Beach Club they didn't even HAVE a slide! I had to walk to International Gateway in the snow...uphill...both ways"

You still may be in luck, that's 2 full weeks still until the original deadline - and it's very promising that they opened the pool up today ahead of schedule. We get to Beach Club on Friday 7/11 so I'm also hoping it will be done.

My sister and her family are at Swan Reserve until the end of the week, but they go over to Y&B or the Boardwalk to grab quick service almost everyday. I'll have to ask her to pester some cast members again about when the slide may open haha.

Does anyone know if the volleyball net was put back up? We are coming in July with (6) late teens/early 20's kids and they usually spend hours at that thing! Thanks!

Anyone ever order food to Yacht Club? At home I don’t order door dash or any service but I’m willing to do this on pool day. Is there a place to order by close to- so food stays warm too, we are good with pizza and subs too. Any suggestions is great

Yay!! Time to cancel my Swolphin backup! Glad they didn’t wait on the skid to open the pool complex.

Will be interesting to hear from vets if any old broken features return. I recall reading something about bubbling waters in part of the pool that broke and never got fixed?

I was just wondering the same thing, if the sinking sands & bubbling waters areas are working like they used to. Hopefully someone who remembers how they used to be will let us know.

The sinking sands area is sadly no longer there. I remember it from years ago and asked which pool it was in and was told that they didn’t bring that back.

it was my understanding that this feature was turned off as the lifeguards had concerns about not being able to see people who were submerged under the bubbles.

It's quite a while now. I'd estimate 15+ years ago. To be honest, the one reason I thought they might have done away with it is because if you didn't know the sinking sands area was there, it could really freak you out to have your foot grabbed by the bottom of the pool!!

Do you have a reservation at BC/YC/BCV prior to those dates? 8/19 is beyond the 60 days right now, unless you have a reservation that allows you the entra couple days. If they're already sold out 62/63 days out, it's going to be a very tough get......

I called yesterday which was our 60 day mark. We check in on 8/16. I called again this morning but no luck.
