Today is going to be a LONG day. We leave at 8pm tonight, and should be at BCV early tomorrow morning!!!!! Fingers crossed that the flights are all on time and everything works out!
Thanks! We are at BC. Loving it!Congrats! Which resort are you at? Not sure what dining plans you have, but the breakfast & especially the evening appetizers have been taken up a notch this year. I would say definitely take advantage of those. And I love the resort specific juice that is available in the afternoon. I think it is called StormAlong Breeze. So good! Have a great time!
We stay at YC, but I think the food offerings are the same at both. Watch for crepes with strawberries, chocolate & whipped cream at breakfast, short ribs with mashed potatoes & salmon with grains in the evening & the warm apple pie & chocolate mickey desserts. Those are some of my favorite things. Thanks! We are at BC. Loving it!
Congrats!!!Just got upgraded to Club Level!!!! I’m so excited! I cried at check in Any tips for those who have stayed CL before?
We have found this to transport us back to our stays at YC.Checked out today after an amazing (and very hot lol) week at YC. I have to say though, as much as I loved the vibe and the pool and the easy walk to Epcot (not so much HS, with all the construction and the crazy walkway detours), what I'll miss most is the lobby smell. I don't know what it was but it honestly might be my new favorite Disney smell.
Glad you had a great stay! Looking forward to seeing your photos. If you get a chance, would you post a bit about evening appetizers? We just got home from our Yacht Club visit. Stayed in room 5227 (club level) and it was amazing. They were starting to do some roof work just below our room last Thursday but it wasn't very noticeable until Saturday (yesterday) morning when we were packing everything up to head home. I'm guessing since we weren't normally around between 9 am and 7 pm we didn't notice it until our last day.
We did utilize the pool and lounge a significant amount. Since it was pretty warm during our whole trip we hit up the pool around 1500/3:00 pm each day for an hour or so and then would stop and get an adult beverage before heading back to the parks around 1700/5:00 pm.
I've gotta get my pictures moved to my computer and will more than likely start my 1st ever trip report (in 12 trips).
This is the info I was hoping to see. I guess that has not been released yet? Last year I thought I read about pumpkin decorating contests and kits you could purchase like tie dyeing Mickey Mouse, if I'm staying at Wilderness Lodge can I pay for these events?Does anyone know what the Beach/Yacht Club does on Halloween for trick or treating? We've been there in the past on Halloween and have seen something set up outside, in the Beaches and Cream area, with a few characters. Wondering if this still happens. This is our first time taking our 3 year old grandson!
