It seems to be their whole system. I called this morning and was told they were doing a system update to call back around 10:30a EST.

Sure hope they didn't lose data.....and thank heavens I always print out my ressies.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the upgrade we've been hearing about that is supposed to come out next month. Maybe they're pushing it out early? If so....I think they should wait, lol.

Me too...I always make sure I have at least 2 copies of everything...copies for home and copies for work, can never be too careful.

Yikes! I have my ressie printed out but as of last night it wasn't showing free dining yet! I was really hoping it would show up today because I need printed proof!

Last year the system was down one day and hours later I was able to use a Visa code on my ressie when it came up again. So hopefully this is why. Keep sending the pixie dust!

Yeah the system is down and they sent me an email this morning with my ressie all messed up. YIKES I changed it yesterday to add the free dining.

What upgrade - sorry I didn't hear about it.

There have been rumors that the upgrade will also involve being able to book dining/recreation/tours online as well as improving the website for making resort reservations. Here's the announcement:



NEW DINING RESERVATION SYSTEM IN THE WORKS

Disney will begin implementing a new reservation system that combines dining, recreation and tour bookings.

The conversion will start on July 21, 2008 and is expected to be functioning on October 24. While this is taking place, the latest dining reservation date which can be booked in advance is January 25, 2009. Once the new system is operating, it will revert to the 180 day Advance Dining Reservation window.

The exceptions to the shortened ADR booking window are Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's and Victoria & Albert's.
