Resort Thread Disney's PORT ORLEANS FRENCH QUARTER Resort

Does anyone know how early the buses start running - arriving in a few weeks and not sure whether to drive to the parks for early entry or get a bus.
In November, first bus came to first Riverside stop around 2 hours before official park opening. Example: AK opened to everyone at 8, bus came around 6:10.

How’s the housekeeping going these days? We are there for 10 nights-what can we expect?
We were at Riverside last week....they gave us fresh towels and changed our trash....that was pretty much it. No vacuuming, no changing sheets/making bed. We even ran out of the pump body wash on our last night but my wife had travel body wash with us so I didn't care too much. But for the price I wish they were doing more. Hopefully it's going to be coming back to full service soon.

At French Quarter, they gave us a ton of towels, that awesome body lotion ever day and made our bed once. They were very sweet. On the days they didn't come in, someone came around to do a visual inspection..

Thanks guess they still aren’t up to what they advertise?

Prior to Your Arrival
Your room will undergo comprehensive cleaning—with added attention to:
  • High-touch areas, like TV remotes and door handles

During Your Stay

  • Vacuuming, if needed
In addition, housekeeping tools will be cleaned between rooms.

I didn't see anything that indicated that. The poster said they didn't make the beds or change the sheets. That is not in the list of things you're listing. As for the amenity replenishment - the things are not clear. I've gone into a room and the first night had no conditioner. Simple pop by the front desk to do it.

Opinions on this resort for a couple in their 30’s (no kids)? We stayed at CSR last time and we loved it. My husband really likes the feel of this resort from the videos and pictures we have seen.

In my opinion it's a great resort for a couple in their 30’s (no kids). Your husband won't be dissapointed.

We just stayed, with no kids. Beautiful resort, but the pool was a problem. We could never find 2 chairs together. The pool is too small for the size of the resort. Thankfully we had a car, and drove to the leisure pools over at Riverside.

We’re a party of 5 adults and we’re driving down from Atlanta. I was thinking of throwing some “chairs in a bag” in my car. Does anyone think it would be in bad taste to use them for sitting around the pool ?

Odd question maybe, but does anyone know if a box of wine will fit in the mini fridge? Or a bottle of wine with a stopper on top? :)

My BBF and I are going in Sept. She only sleeps with her head raised. She has purchased a blow-up wedge. My question is... does Mousekeeping have an electric air pump that we could use to blow this up? Thank you for any help.

Not as far as I know. Need to blow it up yourself I suspect.

Ok, So I plan to read all 481 pages of info. BUT I just switched to here from Coronado, which I have been researching over and over for three years (dates keep moving due to COVID).
So needless to say with only 3 months before my trip I am feeling completely freaked out. Anyone stayed at both? Can ease my mind and tell me why it's a good decision. Thanks
