The last time I stayed at POFQ was last March while the pool was still closed due to refurbishment, it reopened the day that we left. Are the pool and hot tub now closed at night after a certain time, 11 p.m.? And does the pool reopen at 10 a.m. now?

Pool and hot tub hours are 9.00 to 11.00. Pool area is roped off with a sign giving times. Hot tub isn't roped off and I have been in early morning and I think people have been in there late on. The times of opening have been added to the hot tub rules.

I'm baaaaack! I got a FD PIN in my email tonight so was able to switch from CSR to POFQ and in the process saved over $370, not counting the $720 6 nights of FD for DH and I. SO happy to be able to stay at POFQ again. Whew. That 2 1/2 hours on hold was well worth it.

Was this a bounce back offer? Don't you have to book those while still on vacation?

Nope, I used a PIN code that I received in my email yesterday.

Opening hours have always been listed at the spa (such as closing at midnight) but that sign was always ignored. Sounds like they are only enforcing the revised hours at the main pool rather than the spa though, which is great news.

Just check out after 3 nights at POFQ (my cousins were there for 7 nights). We had connecting rooms in building 5 facing the river on the 5th floor. Our housekeeping was great every day and left cute animals which my cousins (4 and 1) loved!!

The pool did close at 11pm. We were there last night at 11pm when they made everyone exit and we hung out at the hot tub till 11:30 with no one asking us to leave. I'm curious to see if the hours change in the summer. A lot of guests were saying that they'd hope it would be later in the summer as the parks are open later.

The food court was great as always. I had an issue with my mug but they just added two days to it to get me through to today and I didn't have to pay again which was nice. They did tell my cousin (4) that they'd have to pay for the mug from their DDP that he left at the front desk. We noticed it was mostly crowded in the 9am-10am hours and that we enjoyed the relaxed feeling at 7am lol. The buses were never too crowded and we never waited more than 15 mins and a lot of the time at opening or closing we didn't share with riverside when we should have!

My cousin did laundry twice and really enjoyed that they had a credit card attached to the machines so no coins needed and that they had timers on them so we knew what time to go back. We didn't' watch the movies on the field but passed by several times..Frozen was last night!

That's pretty much it! My cousins said they loved the resort for their first time to Disney and said it would be hard to pick somewhere else next time they came!

Unfortunately I think these are the summer hours - off-season the pool closes at 9pm. Let's hope they revise that at some point though, as the pool was normally still heavily used until midnight at least.

I have a question to go along with the pool hours. I know the pools are open until 11:00, but I think when we were there last summer, they closed the slides even earlier. Is there a specific time for that? We want to go to the POR pool when the slide is open--missed it last year! Thanks!

That was before they started enforcing pool closure hours to match the lifeguard hours. Before, they would just shut the slides and water features when the lifeguards went off duty, but now they close the whole pool (although admittedly the lifeguard hours are longer than they used to be).

I started staying at POFQ in 2008 and the hot tub was there then. Before that, I dunno.
