Wow, a person can see all the NBA players from that perspective! Just kidding of course but I absolutely love that view!

It was a great spot... ferry boat horns in the mornings along with the audio from the old Welcome show from the MK. EWP and fireworks in the evening from the balcony. The angle of the picture posted was looking a little to the left... but if you looked straight ahead (through the random tree branch that made what should have been a lagoon view a standard view - lol) you could see the MK across the water. The Luau Cove beach was very peaceful & out of the way.. a little bit of heaven

I like Tokelau first floor. You have a grass lawn to hang out on instead of a balcony.

And the ducks come to visit, too!

Wee had a balcony and were on the second floor. I can only speak for Tokelau.

Correct Tokelau is a DVC building and as @Kyleene and I indicated previously in the thread, all the DVC building have a balcony on the 2nd & 3rd floors with at patio on the 1st floor. The regular resort rooms only have a railing on the 2nd floor including the Hawaii CL longhouse.

However it is eerily quite without anyone around the grounds or the GCH in the middle of the day.

For those it may help in the next few days, advance reservations are not currently available for the Oasis Pool Patios, but they are available on a first-come, first-served basis the day of use. Coordinators arrive for their shifts beginning 6 am so you can call day-of from 6:00 am to make a reservation. The official hours of the rental are 10-7, but as I understand, they are not currently offering half days and the CM who reserved ours said it would be set up and ready by 8:30 (I called around 8:00). We did end up leaving around 7:00 pm but could have stayed longer. Full day including tax was $74.55.



For those who are not familiar, Oasis Pool Patios are shade structures with cushioned furniture at the Oasis (quiet) pool. You do not get any other special amenities, just a reserved and shaded place to sit.

I think I posted photos of the inside of them a few pages back, if not let me know and I can repost.

I love the Oasis pool! We spent a lot of time there during our trip. It has a great relaxing feel to it. I can't wait until our next trip, though it may be pretty chilly in January. We are from Illinois, so we still swim when it's in the 70s - it's like that until the end of June here and kids swim. If I remember correctly, because this pool is pretty small, the heating works really well there.

It is my favorite place at Walt Disney World. It was awesome being there this week, I think this getaway will help us endure the continued safety protocols at home with renewed energy.
