Is it possible to find the current AP rate listed for the Poly in May when I don't yet have an AP? Looking for the first full week in May. I know what rack rate is...curious if AP is less and don't want to make the dreaded call to WDW for (mis)information. Thanks.

AP prices only out until December. We won't get those dates for a while yet.

We checked into the Poly today. For the first time in 8 Disney trips, we did not get our Room request (we requested a king room in Rarotonga). We are in a 2 queens room in Niue. They told us we could move to a king room tomorrow. The room we are in is very clean and well maintained. So far all the staff has been very nice and helpful.

We are here until Monday if anyone has any questions.

How do you normally do room requests? I'll put one in via touring plans probably. Does that work better than during online check in?

How you make your request; fax, phone or Online Check In, makes zero difference whether your requests are granted.

I’ve always called them in. You don’t really get any place to make requests during the online check in process anymore.

If you happen to do laundry, can you check if the detergent the machines take is regular or HE? Planning to bring some laundry capsules along.

Never stayed there, so take it with a grain of salt LOL. But, if you're going when the pool will be busy, it could be quite noisy to be pool view. If you're going in cool weather, it might be quieter. For the club level, if you're doing the dining plan, I probably wouldn't pay for club level. If you aren't, it may be worth it just in food alone.

Club level! If you are garden view club level, you will have a pool view! (the Oasis quiet pool). It is lovely!

Is driving your own car the best bet for non-monorail prepark breakfasts (Hollywood Studios, specifically)? Or, are early buses reliable/frequent enough? (We are driving in, so will have our car.)

My preference would be CL but it really depends on whether you'll be spending enough time at the resort to take advantage of the CL offerings. If you'll be spending little time at the resort, it's probably not worth the extra $$.

The Oasis pool is 7AM-11PM and the Volcano pool is 10AM-9PM.

I'm not planning to do any laundry, sorry. If I have a chance I'll try and peek in the laundry room.
