Does anyone know what "LBM room only" means? Our reservation we did through debit card points says this on MDE. I have never seen this before and the cast member that helped us link it up didn't know either.

What's so great about this thread? It's like everyone is looking forward to waking up on Christmas morning.....just like when we were kids! Everyone is just so excited to arrive at the Poly! I am a little disappointed in some of the comments about rude staff. I hope it was just a bad moment, not a trend. I've never encountered any rude staff whenever I've gone to Disney over the years. My trips have truly been Magical, never any stressed out staff....everyone has been so helpful and cheerful. Now, this is my first time at a Deluxe and first time at Poly....so considering how much more I'm paying...I'm expecting outstanding service and positive attitudes. Let's hope I'm not disappointed. Happy Travels to you All!
I've rarely encountered and rude staff anywhere in Wdw. The only exception was a very rude CM at the international gateway.

Just wanted to follow up and say thank you for the advice. As it turns out, the second night opened for DVC on the wait list, so we grabbed that and bought the points from a fellow Dis'er. So, 2 nights in a lake view DVC room....then we used debit care reward points and had to pay just a little bit for Club level Polynesian for the third night!! So, that only cost us $67 for the night! We will only have to move once, but being in club level will be worth it! Thank you.

Glad you were able to get 2 nights in a row for DVC :thumbsup2. Moving for one night won't be bad, especially since the last night is CL! Have a great trip :goodvibes.

I don't know what that stands for, but hopefully someone else will be able to help :flower3:.

Countdown is in double digits, finally!!! 99 days!!!:jumping1::woohoo:

Your trip will be here before you know it!:banana:

Why do I have the option for Check In for the Hawaii Building if I am not Club Level?

Is this for OCI? If so, the only thing I can think of is the choices aren't specific for the room category you booked and all choices are listed for everybody :confused3. Hopefully others will be able to clarify.

Following because I was wondering the same thing. I assumed it meant that I had booked a room only as opposed to booking a package, but I'm not sure. Hopefully it's not code for "you get the really bad rooms because you booked it at a very deep discount through a non-Disney website".

I think it just means that you booked a room only package, and it tells where you booked it in the event that you request a refund, etc. Mine says "WDW DVC Member Points Room Only."

We just rented points through David's and are staying in a standard studio 2/27/16 to 3/5/16. Hubby and I have made multiple trips over our ten year marriage but this will be the first with our daughter. She will be 15 months old on our trip. Excited is an understatement!

Can anyone there now, tell me the pool hours? We are there Friday night and hoping for a swim after F&W :)

I was there last week and the pool was open until 10. Some other resorts are open until 11 but the Poly said the "lifeguards set the hours" and they set it at 10.

May seem like a silly question but how good are the hair dryers at Poly studio? Don't really want to drag mine along but don't want to spend too much time drying hair with weak hair dryer

.

We are here right now. Pool hours are 9:00am to 10:00 pm.

I was in the same boat and opted to not bring mine from home. The dryer in our room is great. Works better and dries my hair faster than my own.

Yes, there's a dryer and there's also a nice double sided light-up magnifying mirror!
