Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean Movie

Saw a small segment on this movie on Access Hollywood (Entertainment Show). It looked neat. Johnny Depp made a really good, nasty pirate. They had beads in his hair and some of his teeth blackened out. I can tell you what "the" Halloween costume is going to next year.

Well...I haven't seen any clips - so it might all change when I do - but for some reason this doesn't appeal to me...the whole films from rides thing, though ToT movie wasn't too bad I guess (but then the ride does have the mystery story theme anyhow).

So...what's PoC about? Apart from Pirates, naturally And it does have one thing going for it...Johnny Depp

Here's what my Disney Stock report has to say about "The Pirates of the Caribbean:

The scene is set when Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush)and the pirates of The Black Pearl attack the town of Port Royal and kidnap the governor's daughter, Elizabeth. Will (Orlando Bloom), a local blacksmith, and Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), a pirate, team up to rescue Elizabeth ( Keira Knightly) but quickly find themselves face-to-face with the captain and his evil crew.

I did a web search and found this link. I can tell I'm going to want that poster.

It looks kinda cool. Disney is also making "The Haunted Mansion" which will star Eddie Murphy, slated for Thanksgiving 03 release.
