Disney's Hidden Treasures

Hey everyone...

I'm breaking into single digits tomorrow, and I'm trying to compile a list of Disney's Hidden Treasures that I need to look for while on vacation.

For example, I know all about the hidden mickeys on rides and in the resorts and all that good stuff. The types of "Hidden Treasures" that I'm looking for are things like:

- the wedding ring embedded into the ground infront of the Haunted Mansion
- the key underneath the mat at the Muppet 3D Vision in MGM Studios
- Cinderella's crown appearing on her head at the fountain in Fantasyland

Those types of things! So, if you have anything along those lines, please...let me know!

(2) Click on any of the parks (navigation bar on the left).
(3) In the touring section (navigation bar on the left) click on "Overlooked Attractions"

It may be exactly what you're looking for. It's been a popular thread on the boards for over three years, and you can find it (I believe) in the "newbies" sticky at the top of the page. Have fun!!

Oh, I've done a bit of reading up....to share some of the one's I plan to look for

- Lady and the Tramp's paw prints in front of the stairs that lead up to Tony's Restaurant
- find a paintbrush on Tom Sawyer's Island and give it to a cast member
- get "spit" on by the Tiki Gods in Adventureland
- waterfall outside the Imagination Pavillion in EPCOT - it flows upward!
- find the "Secret Garden" by the UK Pavillion near Rose and Crown
- Animal Kingdom's "The Awakening" which occurs 15 minutes before the park opens
- find Wes Palm, the talking palm tree, in the Oasis at AK
- look "up" more in AK for suprises...
- stand outside Dawa Bar in Harambe village...you can hear people talking!


I'll post more as I find them!

This is my official list of the things I'm gonna look for on my trip!!

MK
- Lady and the Tramp's paw prints in front of the stairs that lead up to Tony's Restaurant
- find a paintbrush on Tom Sawyer's Island and give it to a cast member

- On Winnie the Pooh, look left as you enter Owl’s house to see Mr Toad give Pooh the deed to the ride
- the wedding ring embedded into the ground infront of the Haunted Mansion
- Cinderella's crown appearing on her head at the fountain in Fantasyland

EPCOT
- waterfall outside the Imagination Pavillion in EPCOT - it flows upward!
- find the "Secret Garden" by the UK Pavillion near Rose and Crown
- take a picture next to the crash test dummies by Test Track
- walk on the grey tiles underneath the picture of a B-17 bomber in the American Pavillion
- the mosaics at the Moroccan Pavillion are purposefully flawed with respect to their religion (only Allah could create something perfect)

MGM
- the key underneath the mat at the Muppet 3D Vision in MGM Studios
- check out the fallen letters at the bottom of the directory case in the lobby of ToT
- listen at the doors of Studio A and B at RnR
- the alley by the launch area of RnR

AK
- Animal Kingdom's "The Awakening" which occurs 15 minutes before the park opens
- find Wes Palm, the talking palm tree, in the Oasis at AK
- look "up" more in AK for suprises...
- stand outside Dawa Bar in Harambe village...you can hear people talking!
- goofy and Donald fishing in a stream somewhere in AK
