I am just done with ever staying at another resort going through construction. No thank you. I don't care how they try to spin it, it's awful. We just had a terrible experience at Boardwalk and I will never stay at a Disney resort that has the construction disruption warning up on the reservation page no matter how many online posters say "it's not so bad".

YES, IT IS!

As for Narcoossees, this nonsense for the past year of making everyone jump through hoops to get reservations, they are just permanently off of my list now. Nope.

Thanks for sharing. Confirms this is out for my trip starting this weekend. Will dine at Citrico's instead (not a bad consolation prize). Also noticed Narcoossee's didn't show up for my November trip. Will keep an eye out.

Does anyone know what type of coffee creamer they sell at the shops? I like coffee mate french vanilla but i dont want to bring my one if i dont have to!!

They stopped carrying coffeemate. In May it was international delight. I was not delighted. I brought the box of mini coffee mates this trip. My store sells the vanilla as well. I would bring with you.

Thank you! We have a room booked for early November - the once in a lifetime type of room - and I think I’m going to have to cancel it. We’re now well under 60 days, and I can’t make plans and be excited for it when it’s still so uncertain. I made my plans around my backup, and I’m excited for them now!!

ETA - I don’t mean that to say I’m trying to get you to divulge anything! More just my own frustration with how it all played out!

My trip last weekend I often looked for dinner . Narcoosees did show up some days but not everyday. It

Scrim Removed From Grand Floridian Resort Lobby’s Upper Levels​

Some of the railing features decorative, intricate carvings.

We spotted new lighting fixtures in place along the hallway columns. This one still has its plastic covering and tags attached.




Looking over some of the guest railing, wiring can be seen, presumably to accommodate future hallway lighting that will be installed.

Construction crews are still present, working to finish the railing refurbishment. You can see some of what could be the scrim walls on the floor just below the crew, moved over to the side.

Ah-ha!! I wonder if we finally found the real reason for the Narcossee’s ADR mess! Maybe they’ve been waiting on some key thing/people for these “updates” to finally be able to go live and schedule them.

Construction on the nearby Polynesian Disney Vacation Club tower is the reason for the closure. Disney has not listed a reopening date at this time.
