Lobby this morning!!!!!!!

WOW!!! amazing news…so happy!! We travel from the UK on Wedesday for a week at BRV then onto AKL then lastly 7 nights at our home resort!! Cant believe the lobby is open, our daughter is joining us for a fee days and really wanted her to see the lobby in all its glory…thank you so much for the pictures

They did not have any outdoor seating out this week.

We had the same issue as @trishadono in May.

I have a room for early November, and at this point - even with the lobby improving this morning - I’m strongly leaning to cancel and go with my backup.

I want to make park and meal plans and not worry that my room won’t be open or that all amenities won’t be up and running in time for our stay. After the stress in May, I want to enjoy the next 60 days and not be constantly monitoring for updates.

I booked a room for the second week of March, 2024 and just received an email that renovations will be occurring at the Grand Floridian during my stay. I was under the impression renovations would be complete by March 2024. Apparently not?

Working on the roof is slow and labor intensive. These guys are handing boards down one at a time. Guess they can’t just throw things down like my roofers did!

Honestly I never did that. Mono to MK is so fast that’s my go to. I don’t like risking a boat to MK in the morning . Besides it goes to poly then MK. It will be longer than mono.
