For anyone interested...the signups for the Annual Passholder's "Taste" event are now open on the Disneyland web site - you can either get to it from the AP website or from the www.disneysfoodandwineweekends.com web site. Guess the rest of the events don't open up until Monday.

I'm going to be there on May 12! :-) It sounds similar to Epcot's "Party for the Senses" - I hope it'll be as good as that is.

Right after my previous post I received an email from Disney in response to the question I'd asked last week about the "Taste" event - it's on Saturday, which is a blockout day for all the Disney APs except the Premium, and I asked if attendees who are not Premium AP holders will be required to purchase a blockout day ticket to attend the event. The answer, unfortunately, is "yes". So for those who don't have a Premium AP, the event is going to cost you an additional $30...

Hi Scooter,
I booked two tickets for us tonight and we will be there, too! We went to the F&W Fest at WDW in 2005 and the PFTS was the best $$ we spent. All the food was gourmet and we sampled many excellent wines - even the famed Illsikin (spelling?) Ice Wine. Yum. And the entertainment...well, see pic below, Cirque did a "mini show" and we got a few photos of the mascot. She was a hoot! Anyway, we are staying at PP (since we will be drinking...a lot...) and are very, very excited for the event. I hope it compares to the Florida event. Now I just have to wait for March 13 to make Mother's Day Brunch ressies for the next day....;) Hope to see you there.:dance3:

Disney has changed the wording on the web page for "Taste" - now it states that it's open to Annual Passholders and their guests, so apparently non-AP holders will now be able to go - if they have an AP friend to buy for them. But they'll still need a separate park admission for the day, and those without a Premium AP will have to buy a Blockout Day ticket.
