We've been to WDW quite a few times and have never done the Family Magic Tour. Would our DD 16 and our DS 13 enjoy this? I think DW and I would(but I turn into a 10 year old at WDW).

Since we'll be there in late July, I thought the FMT would be something that would take our attention from the heavier crowds, at the MK.

We did the FMT this past February. DS is 12 and DD is 10, so I don't know if I can speak for your teens. If your kids still think Disney is cool and wouldn't be embarrassed by hopping, barking, or other silliness for a couple of hours, then by all means do it. We had a blast. My inlaws joined us for part of the trip, and even they enjoyed the FMT, in spite of their apprehensions about it. I filmed bits of the tour, enough to follow the storyline, and interviewed the kids at various points. It is priceless to watch now, and certainly added to our treasure of Disney memories. Enjoy!

It depends on how willing your kids are to get into all the actions required. And I think that's a personality thing, not necessarily an age thing (although teenagers can be very self-conscious and you can't be if you're going to charge through MK barking!) It's a great time but the fun is dependent on your interaction. Like you, I become a 10 yr old at Disney, so I had a blast & my 8 and 6 yo nephew & niece did too.

It does take you all over the park though, and in the heat it can be a bit tiring, so make sure you are dressed comfortably and hydrate as you walk. There are some quick stops to rest a moment and get drinks, so the guides do watch out for your comfort but it is a LOT of walking (& jumping, skipping, flying....) Loads of laughs, if the kids don't want to do it you & DH should try it anyway!

What do you mean DH(thats me), I'm worried about the DW and my DS 13. DD 16 & I are always ready to act silly(sometimes it's not an act).
