Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Well, RPC's always been a "bucket list" item for me. I guess the time has come - I'd better get hunting for a night or two with a discount!
I have noticed that it tends to pop the closer you get. Trying to book in advance with a discount I don’t ever see anything. Then the last week prior many resorts suddenly have discount availability. The sonora suite at BWI is showing 25% off for tomorrow!

I’ve seen the same. This week the Nantucket suite at BC has popped up for this weekend with the AP discount

That's a very good point! That may be the way to do it. Last-minute luck!

I just bought Genie+ for my entire trip. I didn’t want it for 2 of the days, but if I didn’t buy the whole time, I’d have to do all the days every morning at 7. I didn’t want to chance it …….So, I spent an extra $150. sucks but it’s my choice.

Then I asked what my date is for my ADR. CM tells me June14, however, my DIL had a few questions the other day and the CM told her June 13. We arrive August 13….So which is??

BTW, does a CM greet you for club level or do I go to check-in? Is checking in by my phone better the day of or a day before?

Doesn’t matter when or how you check in. I always do mine as some as I book. My personal preference

As to being greeted, depends on the resort. If you need access to the CL desk someone will take you up. It’s the only way to reach to CL. At BWI for instance, you can walk to their CL desk yourself. So you aren’t greeted.

I’ve stayed BC club level four times since it reopened. We’ve been greeted twice and used our magic bands to go up ourselves twice, so I guess it depends on the day and the staff. We also stayed BWI, and we got there late, so I know we were not greeted and led up there either.

60 days prior to august 13th is June 14th.

I find it’s hit or miss if a club level CM greets us in the lobby. If there’s no one standing around with an iPad, then I generally just go to the front desk. You can then say you’re staying club level, and sometimes they’ll go ahead and send you up to check in or call someone down to escort you.

Years back my son ate a gazillion of the Rice Krispie treat bars at AKL. The CM even gave him a bunch to take back to the room one day.
However, I haven’t noticed any in anyones newer CL pictures. Has anyone who has stayed recently noticed any? What about regular cookies? I see all of the pre-packaged snack treats, but do those regular old standby snacks still make an appearance?
Specifically we are staying BWI CL in a couple of weeks
Sadly, the rice krispie treats have been put out to pasture (savanna?) but they do put out cookies during the 8-10 dessert time :).

Okay, I pulled the trigger and upgraded our room to CL at Gran Destino Tower for June 17-19! One of our friends is now joining us on my husband's surprise trip. Can't wait!!!

In general, is it at all worth requesting the same floor as the club?
We’ve stayed at GDT twice, first time we were on the 14th floor, the room directly to the right of the lounge. January we requested a king and got a deluxe studio on the 7th floor. I was upset at first when I noticed we were not on the same floor but it really wasn’t much of an issue at all.

Even with the first room being super close to the lounge, the only noticeable benefit of the 14th floor for us was a nicer view.

Be sure to check out the breakfast at the lounge, that was my favorite part. They had bread pudding that I’m pretty sure was made from the left over croissants. 😋

I have to be honest, for Christmas we were mere steps from the lounge door and we thought it was wonderful!! It really couldn’t have been any more convenient. We loved just walking over and getting a drink/snack whenever we wanted, or going in as we passed by on the way to the elevator. It was great! Enjoy it!!

hello!

We are staying at the Atrium Club at the end of September. We are a little nervous as we will have a 2 year old with us and there is just a shower with no bath. Anyone have experience with this and any suggestions for what worked for them?

Thank you

Maybe practice now at home letting mom/dad shower with the little one?

I know families have varying levels of comfort about nudity so mom/dad could wear a swimsuit if that makes everyone more comfortable.

Thanks. I it appears some of the rooms have baths and some dont based on the videos after the renovations were done, wondering if a request would help.

Hello! I know pre-covid, Wilderness Lodge Club Level could be added for around $100 per night. Has anyone been able to do this recently? I figure it probably hasn't been brought back but figured I'd ask!

Just stayed at Gran Destino CL - really enjoyed it. We had a standard view but the room faced HS. We were on the 9th floor - lounge is on the 15th. Our room was 933 right opposite the elevators - never heard any noise. Quick trip up to the lounge. Normally I like being on the same floor as the lounge but honestly unles you have little ones it is not necessary.

The last pricing of this option was $139 per room per night just before they closed on March 17, 2020 and as of today the option has not returned at any price.

We have used it in the past and I do hope it returns. It was only available at check-in and they required you to book it for each night of reservation.
