Thanks for the help - knowing that it is open early might tip the balance for us... I'm guessing the price will be even or better using the mugs (at least for DH and I) since we have a few lunch/dinner meals at the resort as well.

So many decisions!

Once you use the refillable mug for the 6th time, you have broke even. Any more than that you are saving $$.

Just returned from CBR. Barbados #1406 has a murphy bed. Loved the location and corner room.

We might cancel our CBR reservations for late February and rent vacation club points instead since CBR was unavailable for us for any of the discounts. Will we have any problems with all the dining reservations we made since our resort reservation number for the CBR stay will no longer be valid? In other words, will we lose all of our dining reservations by cancelling our resort reservations?

You shouldn't lose your dining reservations as they're independent of your of room
reservation. People staying off property book dining too.

This might be a dumb question but am I correct in assuming the rooms have wifi? Does it work throughout the entire resort or just mostly when you are in the rooms?

Yes there is WiFi in the rooms and throughout the resort.

Orlando Park News announced on Facebook a transportation change that is coming to CBR on October 4th. Here's a direct quote,

"Service to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will be split to service Caribbean Beach-A side and Caribbean Beach-B side separately. This change will be for the morning operation only and will recombine during the afternoon".

This should help speed things up in the mornings!

Not sure I understand what this means. Is it good or bad? What is A-side & B-side?

I think it's good news. I took it to mean that each side of the lake will have their own designated bus during the morning rush. No more having to stop at every bus stop - only bus stops on one side of the lake.

It means that they are going to split the resort in half and one bus for Epcot will pick up at half the bus stops and a separate bus will pick up the other half of the bus stops. The same thing for Hollywood Studios. This is a good thing because it will mean less crowded buses in the morning for both parks. They can use the extra long buses for Magic Kingdom so this isn't necessary. Epcot and Hollywood Studios don't have the terminals yet that can handle the extra long buses. And I have never found Animal Kingdom buses to be crowded no matter what.

This is a great idea. While we don't use the transportation that is a complaint I see often about the resort. I love it there and it would be great as my kids get older to use the buses!

Thanks for clarifying. It was the fact that they weren't doing it for MK that confused me.

So does this mean we will be walking to a different bus stop? Not using the one in our village but walking to another location to get this bus?

That's is a good thing. When we were there last week it took 15 minutes going to each village bus stop before we ever left the hotel. We made sure to be at the bus stop by 7:45 each morning because of this. The bus stops did not have a lot of people getting on at the time but I imagine as the morning grew later the stops took longer.

Just booked CBR for upcoming trip for Thanksgiving. Can anyone tell me which locations or rooms are decorated with the Finding Nemo theme? At first I thought all the rooms (except Pirate) had
the Nemo theme but then I saw another style room that was more earth tones.
