Question, I am able to do online check-in today. I have a standard view room. Do more people book first or second floor rooms? Just wanting to make the most of my online check-in choices.

I like the second floor because there is no noise above you, but there aren't any elevators, so if that is an issue I would do first :)

It doesn't matter to me, I prefer not to have people walking above me. Mostly I care more about what building I am in so I just wanted to make sure the building choice was first priority. I think I'll just request the building I want and second floor, at least then I hopefully won't have anyone walking above me. :)

It really makes no difference. Personal choice. Stairs, no stairs. I've had both and both have been great!

I wonder if maybe they will only close one part off the bridge at a time so the playground is always accessible
So once they have refurbished the bridge Aruba side it will re open and close it from OPR side maybe ???

So will this hotel have a kids pool in a week?

We have an opportunity to switch hotels to POFQ and kid pool was our entire reason for booking this. What actually is going to be closed and for how long?

It is only the splash pad.

All of the pools will be open. There will be plenty of places for your kids to swim.

The walking bridge that crossed the lake/pond will be closed as well, but they are running an internal shuttle and boat ferry.

Is the spalah pad different from the pool with the big pirate ship in it?
The big pool has the water slides and the cannons. The splash pad is very shallow and for kids under 48". It does have the pirate ship in it.

There've been differing reports. I believe it was an unplanned filter issue and that may be why they aren't certain how long. I've read a couple of weeks only to the end of October.

Quick question because I haven't been since they've been working so much on Downtown Disney (it'll always be called that to me). Those with a car, have you found it hard to park downtown? I hate the bus stops at Downtown and I feel like we wait there more than we do anywhere. Hoping we can maybe just take our car and not have a huge hassle. But, I'm cool taking the bus if it's easier. Anyone been there lately and have experience to share? We're about 55 days from our first stay at CBR and I could not be more excited!

Just an FYI there is no splash pad at POFQ/POR, just a pool with a slide just like at CBR so if you switch because you want a splash pad you still won't have one.
