Just returned from BWV. Spoke with a CM that their understanding is that Dundy’s Sundries will become a coffee shop, and BVL will get a minor refurb.

I was just looking at the Disney World website to check availability of the garden cottages for later this year. I tried a variety of dates from July through December and every month in between. Not only didn't I find availability but that booking category was completely absent. Anyone know why?

I just ran a bunch of date combos around that time, including just the night of September 17. It's not there. It isn't even on the list as unavailable for the chosen dates.

Yeah, that’s strange. For months now they’ve had the Garden Cottege rooms mislabeled/miscategorized on the website as not being CL (which has been an error, because they are CL) - maybe they are in the process of fixing that or did something in fixing it to make it disappear? Very strange!

My guess was that the cottages are not available for booking because they are on the list for refurbishment. If someone books a cottage and then it is pulled for service, the people could be moved to a regular Club Level room, but it wouldn't be the same type of unit because the cottages are unique. So maybe they were blocked until Disney has a better idea of when the refurbishment would be.

Perhaps a more likely scenario is that it is yet another Disney IT glitch.

I was looking at BWI availability the end of Sept. today and guess what popped up?
Cottages with the Disney+ discount. Strange how they come and go.

It's actually been fixed for a few weeks, they have been having issues with it not showing up under the other CL rooms in that category, but they put it in the name of the room. I know those rooms for me often don't pop up for certain amount of nights, like if you want one night they won't show up. I did have it show up for me the other day for my dates in december though, so who really knows what's going on.

Hello all. After going back and forth for a while, I finally decided on BWI over Yacht Club for June 24-July 2 for myself, DH, DS15 and DD12!

I was wondering if any had any suggestions for garden view rooms--we want something convenient to lobby but on a higher floor.

Also, can anyone there NOW post this month's (June 2022) activity calendar?

We're staying 1 Bdrm Villa Standard View in a month and I'm looking at our room choices. The first and 2nd floor rooms behind the Leaping Horse are considered standard view.
Does anyone know if that is a patio there? How noisy does the pool area get from in the rooms?
