I will be at AOA on this Sunday for 1 night do the movies at the pool happen every night or just select nights?

NE Goofy, people have reported they do not sell bread and they do sell half gallons of milk but they run out a lot and then what's left is the individual serving for 1.69. If you are checking a bag at the airport you can do what I'm doing and pack a couple of parmalat quarts of milk or those horizon milk boxes. Also bringing my own bread, PB & j.

We are actually packing some Horizon milk boxes in our suitcase for DD. Considering they are $1.29 each at Wegman's here, we'll buy enough for each morning. I figure we can have her drink it on the way to the bus stop and while waiting, so we do not have to lug a cup around with us.

Thanks for all the info. I have never heard of horizon milk boxes. I will have to check if they have them here in Nebraska.

i think i like LK the best.....something very soothing about it...not sure why, but i like it...
cars is less interesting to me, although that sofa is totally cool - looks just like the back seat of our car when i was really really little!!
nemo is the least interesting...not sure why.....

so i guess LK it is....i would think it's quieter there, since there's no pool...

We love our LK suite but be aware the movies are now shown in the LK courtyard and they are fairly loud!

Do the movies jusr take place during peak seasons? We are heading to AoA at the end of November and I know my DSD would get a kick out of watching a movie outside!

Do corner rooms in LM section have windows on 2 sides like at All Stars?

Also, to all the people talking about bringing horizon milk in luggage, I wanted to do that too, but am afraid of it breaking open. The airlines really throw the luggage around. I don't know how it could survive the baggage handling.

We stayed at LM on opening day for just one night. I cannot comment on the bus service as we drive and did not have pArk tickets that day. The room was really cute. I liked the theming of the room and the resort.

The bed was hard as a rock and no amount of the kids jumping on it could have helped. The bedspread was the same way. It seemed like it was starched and had no comfort. We were glad we were only there on night, due to the bed/ bedspread situation.

The room we were in did have a door for a connecting room. We were in the Ursula building third floor facing the lake, which was cool.

Check in was quick, as another poster said the lemonade and cookies were nice. The kids activities will also be moved inside close to where u check in if it rains. They had coloring sheets, games and the kids made their own crowns.

Just tried to put in a room request of lake view, bldg 7.
The person I talked to said no, I booked standard room, I didn't pay extra for "water view". I told her LM only has standard so far. They have not yet created "water view" category. (Probably will soon---more $$.) But she didn't believe me.:rotfl:
Nothing like the CMs steering you wrong. Gotta watch out for that.

when I pack things I've afraid will break open will usually put in a ziploc throw away container...since its more rigid, I've never had anything leak or get crushed!

I use zip lock bags (well I plan to use them). I do the same with anything that might leak. I also read on Dis that some people suggest packing an outfit in a bag for each day so it is all set and ready to go (shirt, shorts, socks, undies) and I plan to do that. Zip lock bags have so many uses :)

They are in the organic section at our grocery store and $1.29 a box. Wal-Mart and Target (near us) do not have them.

I personally will not buy the horizon "organic" milk. They were in a lot of trouble last year when researchers found out that the milk wasn't organic. For the price we pay for organic it better be organic is my honest opinion. There's a few other brands that do single serving organic milk, like Earth's Best! I

I don't mind if it is organic or not, it is just convenient for us. The only other milk in a box alternative here are those Hershey (yuck!) ones or Silk (which are expensive here and DD does not like them anyway). I should look and see if Wegman's here sells Earth's Best. Do they come in a box?

ETA: oops you said they are single serving :)

Our Whole Foods and Target sell the Earth's Best both in the baby aisle. There's also Organic Valley boxed milk, it's sold at Whole Foods, Meijer and Kroger here.

Just got off the plane from our 6 day stay at the resort.. We were in a LM room, section 9.. Had a great time. I honestly did not think the walk was long at all.. We had to walk further at the pops and Caribbean in previous years... With the kids in tow did not even feel like 5 minutes.. Rooms are small but that was expected since we have stayed at value resorts before.. And like previous posts, drawer space is limited but we managed with 2 adults and 2 kids... Nemo pool is great, my kids did not want to leave! Food was greasy, but expect a wait for the made to order foods
